Ninguém tem maior amor do que aquele que dá a vida pelos amigos. Jesus demonstrou o amor supremo na cruz do Calvário.
13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
12 This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.
9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our stayed with him.
34 A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

8 But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
