Julgamento: o limite entre discernir e condenar
O que a Bíblia ensina sobre julgar
A Bíblia não proíbe o discernimento, mas condena com firmeza a hipocrisia e o impulso humano de condenar o próximo assumindo o lugar de Deus. Enquanto a inclinação comum é apontar os erros alheios com severidade, a Escritura ensina que todo juízo deve ser guiado pela verdade e pela misericórdia, pois cada pessoa prestará contas de si mesma ao Criador.
Quando Jesus advertiu para não julgar, o contexto era a postura dos fariseus e daqueles que procuravam falhas minúsculas nos outros enquanto ignoravam pecados graves em si mesmos.
"Judge not lest you be judged".
"With what judgment you judge and with what measure you use, it will be measured to you".
"Why do you see the straw in the eyes of the other person but not see the beam in your own eyes"
"How is it that you say to the other person: ‘Wait for me awhile and I will cast the straw out of your eyes’, and behold the beam is in your own eyes?"
"Hypocrite, first cast the beam out of your eyes and afterwards you will cast the straw out of the eyes of your fellowman"(Gosel 7:1-5)
Judge not, and you2f shall not be judged: condemn not, and you2f shall not be condemned: forgive, and you2f shall be forgiven:
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you2f measure (deal out) withal it shall be measured to you again.(Luke 6:37,38)
Julgar pela aparência versus julgar com reta justiça
Existe uma diferença essencial nas Escrituras entre a condenação presunçosa e a avaliação prudente. Em João 7, o próprio Cristo instruiu os seus ouvintes a não julgarem conforme as aparências externas, mas a praticarem um juízo reto e justo.
Discernir entre a verdade e o erro moral é responsabilidade de quem busca maturidade na fé. O problema começa quando esse discernimento se transforma em arrogância e difamação contra o irmão, esquecendo que há apenas um Legislador e Juiz capaz de salvar e de destruir.
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.(John 7:24)
Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaks evil of [his] brother, and his brother, speaks evil of the law, and the law: but if youi judge the law, youi are not a doer of the law, but a judge.
There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who are youi that judge another?(Jacob 4:11,12)
But why do youi judge youri brother? or why do youi set at nothing (despise) youri brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Moshiach [Messiah].
For it is written, [As] I live, says the Lord - Kurios, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God-The Father.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God-The Father.(Romans 14:10-12)
O Tribunal de Cristo e a responsabilidade pessoal
A Escritura afirma categoricamente que todos comparecerão diante de Deus. Para quem está em Cristo Jesus, o julgamento final não é um veredito de condenação penal eterna, mas um acerto de contas onde cada intenção oculta, palavra e atitude será exposta diante da luz da verdade divina.
Saber que Deus examina o íntimo deve afastar qualquer desejo de policiar a vida do próximo, trazendo o foco de volta para o próprio coração e conduta.
[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation], who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit [Ruach].
For the law of the Spirit [Ruach] of life in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation] has made me free from the law of sin and death.(Romans 8:1,2)
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Moshiach [Messiah]; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he has done, whether [it be] good or bad.(2 Corinthians 5:10)
For God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil.(Ecclesiastes 12:14)
Deus é o único juiz perfeito e imparcial
Os julgamentos humanos são frequentemente falhos, condicionados por preconceitos, mágoas e informações incompletas. Deus, ao contrário, julga com retidão absoluta porque conhece os segredos mais profundos de cada indivíduo e não se deixa impressionar por discursos ou aparências exteriores.
Confiar no julgamento do Senhor liberta o cristão da necessidade de vingança e do peso de carregar ressentimentos, na certeza de que a justiça perfeita pertence exclusivamente a Deus.
But the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] shall endure forever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.(Tehillim - Psalms 9:7,8)
I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire.
A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.(Daniel 7:9,10)
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God-The Father; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.(Revelation 20:12,13)
