17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.

20 Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.

13 For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

13 Be pleased to save me, LORD; come quickly, LORD, to help me.

6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.

17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us "from Your Majesty's hand.18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."

18 He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.

14 But they took their stand in the middle of the field. They defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

23 If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry.

13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?"

13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." [6]

16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.'

10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead —Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.15 "If you love me, keep my commands.16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever —

31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.

8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

26 then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God's face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being.
