Mal
A existência do mal é realidade que a Bíblia confronta diretamente. Deus não é autor do mal, mas nos dá armas para vencê-lo e promete que o bem sempre prevalecerá.
Separar-se do mal
O temor do Senhor é aborrecer o mal. A Bíblia nos exorta a odiar o pecado, guardar os pés do mal e fugir de toda aparência maligna.
Vencer o mal com o bem
Não te deixes vencer do mal, mas vence o mal com o bem. A luz brilha nas trevas, e as trevas não prevalecem contra ela.
21 Let not evil overcome you, but overcome evil with good.
9 And let not your love be guileful; abhor things evil, cleave to the good.
17 But I beseech of you, my brethren, beware of them who make divisions and scandals apart from the doctrine which you have learned; and be distant from them.
5 and the Light himself in the darkness shineth, and the darkness perceived him not.
15 And beware, lest any of you evil render for evil; but always follow after (those things which are) good (pl.) toward one another, and toward every man.
21 Prove every thing, and what is good retain.22 And from every evil thing flee.
Proteção contra o mal
Deus nos livra do mal e guarda nossos passos. Devemos nos revestir da armadura de Deus para resistir às forças das trevas.
13 and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory to the age of ages.
15 Not that thou wouldest take them out of the world do I pray, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil;
18 And my Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me into his kingdom, which is in heaven. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
11 And clothe you in all the armour of Aloha, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the accuser.
12 For your wrestling is not with flesh and blood (only), but with princes, and with powers, and with the possessors of this dark world, and with the evil spirits who are under heaven.
26 Be angry and sin not, and let not the sun set upon your wrath,27 and give no place to the accuser.
Deus transforma o mal em bem
O que o mal pretendeu contra nós, Deus transformou em bem. Ele tira pureza da aflição e confessa a restauração dos arrependidos.
21 Wherefore, remove from you all impurity and the abounding of wickedness, and with meekness receive the word which is engrafted in our nature, which is able to save your souls.
9 but if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
20 But that which proceedeth from a man, that polluteth a man.21 For from within, from the heart of the sons of men, go forth evil thoughts, adultery, fornication, robbery, murder,22 rapacity, malice, fraud, obscenity, an evil eye, blasphemy, vain-glory, folly;23 all these evils come from within, and they defile a man.
