Mal
A existência do mal é realidade que a Bíblia confronta diretamente. Deus não é autor do mal, mas nos dá armas para vencê-lo e promete que o bem sempre prevalecerá.
Separar-se do mal
O temor do Senhor é aborrecer o mal. A Bíblia nos exorta a odiar o pecado, guardar os pés do mal e fugir de toda aparência maligna.
Vencer o mal com o bem
Não te deixes vencer do mal, mas vence o mal com o bem. A luz brilha nas trevas, e as trevas não prevalecem contra ela.
21 Be not overcome of evyll: But overcome evyll wt goodnes.
9 Let love be wt out dissimulacion. Hate that which is evyll and cleave vnto that which is good.
17 I beseche you brethre marke them which cause division and geve occasions of evyll contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned: and avoyde them.
5 and the lyght shyneth in the darcknes but the darcknes comprehended it not.
15 Se that none recopence evill for evyll vnto eny man: but ever folowe that which is good both amonge youre selves and to all men.
21 Examen all thinges and kepe that which is good.22 Abstayne from all suspicious thinges.
Proteção contra o mal
Deus nos livra do mal e guarda nossos passos. Devemos nos revestir da armadura de Deus para resistir às forças das trevas.
13 And leade vs not into teptacion: but delyver vs fro evell. For thyne is ye kyngedome and ye power and ye glorye for ever. Amen.
15 I desyre not that thou shuldest take the out of the worlde: but that thou kepe them from evyll.
18 And the Lorde shall delivre me from all evyll doynge and shall kepe me vnto his hevenly kyngdome. To who be prayse for ever and ever. Amen.
11 Put on ye armour of God that ye maye stonde stedfast agaynst ye crafty assautes of the devyll.
12 For we wrestle not agaynst flesshe and bloud: but agaynst rule agaynst power and agaynst worldy rulars of ye darckenes of this worlde agaynst spretuall wickednes for hevenly thinges.
26 Be angrye but synne not let not the sonne go doune apon your wrathe27 nether geue place vnto ye backbyter.
Deus transforma o mal em bem
O que o mal pretendeu contra nós, Deus transformou em bem. Ele tira pureza da aflição e confessa a restauração dos arrependidos.
20 Ye thoughte euell vnto me: but God turned it vnto good to bringe to passe as it is this daye euen to saue moch people a lyue
21 Wherfore laye a parte all fylthynes all superfluite of maliciousnes and receave with meknes the worde yt is grafted in you which is able to save youre soules.
9 Yf we knowledge oure synnes he is faythfull and iust to forgeve vs oure synnes and to clense vs from all vnrightewesnes.
20 And he sayde: yt defileth a ma which cometh oute of a man.21 For fro wt in even oute of the herte of men proceade evill thoughtes: advantry fornicacion murder22 theeft coveteousnes wickednes diceyte vnclennes and a wicked eye blasphemy pryde folysshnes:23 all these evyll thinges come from with in and defile a man.
