Mal
A existência do mal é realidade que a Bíblia confronta diretamente. Deus não é autor do mal, mas nos dá armas para vencê-lo e promete que o bem sempre prevalecerá.
Separar-se do mal
O temor do Senhor é aborrecer o mal. A Bíblia nos exorta a odiar o pecado, guardar os pés do mal e fugir de toda aparência maligna.
13 The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth.
10 You who love Jehovah, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
14 Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
133 Direct my steps in Your Word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
16 Wash yourselves, purify yourselves. Put away the evil of your doings from My eyes; stop doing evil.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and depart from evil.8 It shall be healing to your navel and refreshment to your bones.
Vencer o mal com o bem
Não te deixes vencer do mal, mas vence o mal com o bem. A luz brilha nas trevas, e as trevas não prevalecem contra ela.
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cleave to what is good.
17 Now I exhort you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and snares, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not lay hold of it.
15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
21 But test all things; hold fast what is good.22 Abstain from every form of evil.
Proteção contra o mal
Deus nos livra do mal e guarda nossos passos. Devemos nos revestir da armadura de Deus para resistir às forças das trevas.
13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil.
7 Jehovah shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.8 Jehovah shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and keep me safe for His Heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.
11 Put on all the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the worlds rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies.
26 Be angry, but do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,27 nor give place to the devil.
Deus transforma o mal em bem
O que o mal pretendeu contra nós, Deus transformou em bem. Ele tira pureza da aflição e confessa a restauração dos arrependidos.
20 As for you, you had devised evil against me; but God had planned it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which has the power to save your souls.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
20 And He said, What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual perversions, murders,22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.
12 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all transgressions.
9 Thus says Jehovah of Hosts, saying, Judge true justice, and show goodness and compassion, everyone to his brother.10 And do not oppress the widow, or the fatherless, the alien, or the poor. And do not devise evil in your heart, a man against his brother.
