Mediador
Jesus é o único mediador entre Deus e os homens. Ele é o caminho, a verdade e a vida — ninguém vem ao Pai senão por Ele. Sua intercessão é eterna e perfeita.
O único mediador
Há um só Deus e um só mediador entre Deus e os homens — Cristo Jesus. Ele intercede por nós diante do Pai com autoridade eterna.
5 For God is one; and one is mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus,
6 Jesus answered him. "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man ever comes to the Father but by me.
6 But Jesus has obtained a better ministry, by so much as he is also Mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted upon better promises.
15 And because of this he is the Mediator of a new testament, in order that, since a death has taken place to atone for offenses committed under the first testament, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
Intercessão e proteção
Jesus rogou ao Pai que nos guarde do mal. O Espírito intercede por nós com gemidos inexprimíveis, e nada nos separa do amor de Cristo.
27 And the Searcher of Hearts knows what the Sprits meaning is, because his intercessions for the saints are according to the will of God.
38 For I am fully persuaded that neither death nor life, Neither angels nor principalities, nor powers, Neither the present world nor the world to come, Nor the powers of Nature,39 Nor height, nor depth, Nor any other created thing, Shall be able to separate us from the love of God Which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
21 Him who knew no sin, in our behalf he has made to be sin; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
