Mudança
A mudança é constante na vida, mas Deus é imutável. A Bíblia nos ensina a abraçar a transformação espiritual enquanto confiamos no Deus que é o mesmo ontem, hoje e sempre.
Deus é imutável
Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje e para sempre. Deus não muda — Ele é a rocha firme em meio às mudanças constantes da vida.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
17 Every good gift and every perfect boon is from above, and is ever coming down to us from the Father of the heavenly lights, with whom is no variation nor shadow of eclipse.
31 Earth and sky shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Transformação em Cristo
Se alguém está em Cristo, é nova criação. Somos transformados de glória em glória à imagem do Senhor pelo poder do Espírito.
17 So there is a new creation when any man is in Christ. The old life has passed away, behold, the new is come.
18 And we all, with unveiled faces, reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are ourselves continually being transformed into the same likeness, from glory to glory, as by the Lord, the Spirit.
2 And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
2 We are Gods children now, beloved; what we shall be has never yet been made manifest. But we know that when he is manifested we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
21 who will change the fashion of the body of our abasement into the likeness of his glorious body by the energy with which he is able even to subject all things to himself.
51 Lo, I tell you a secret truth. we shall not all be sleeping, but we shall be changed,52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet sounds. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised, incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Arrependimento como mudança
Arrependei-vos, pois, e convertei-vos. O arrependimento é a mudança mais radical — da morte para a vida, do pecado para a graça.
8 Then bring forth fruit worthy of repentance.
3 "I tell you no; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
19 "Repent then! and reform, from the blotting out of your sins, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;
Tempos e ciclos
Para tudo há uma estação e um tempo para cada propósito debaixo do céu. Deus faz novas todas as coisas no tempo certo.
3 Know this first, that mockers will come in the last days, in their mockery, men who walk the way of their own lusts4 and say, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the day that our fathers fell asleep everything continues as it was from the beginning of the creation."5 For they willingly ignore the fact that there were heaven, from of old, and an earth formed out of water and through water, by the word of God;6 and that by the same means the world which then existed was destroyed by a deluge of water.7 But the heavens and earth that now are, by the same word of God, have been reserved for fire, and are being kept for the Day of Judgment, and for the destruction of ungodly men.
