Mudança
A mudança é constante na vida, mas Deus é imutável. A Bíblia nos ensina a abraçar a transformação espiritual enquanto confiamos no Deus que é o mesmo ontem, hoje e sempre.
Deus é imutável
Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje e para sempre. Deus não muda — Ele é a rocha firme em meio às mudanças constantes da vida.
8 Iesus Christ yesterdaye and to daye and the same continueth for ever.
17 Every good gyfte and every parfayt gyft is from above and commeth doune fro the father of light with whom is no variablenes nether is he chaunged vnto darcknes.
31 Heven and erth shall passe but my wordes shall not passe.
Transformação em Cristo
Se alguém está em Cristo, é nova criação. Somos transformados de glória em glória à imagem do Senhor pelo poder do Espírito.
17 Therfore yf eny man be in Christ he is a newe creature. Olde thynges are passed awaye beholde all thinges are be come newe.
18 But we all beholde the glorye of the Lorde with his face open and are chaunged vnto the same similitude from glory to glory even of the sprite of the Lorde.
2 And fassion not youre selves lyke vnto this worlde: But be ye chaunged in youre shape by the renuynge of youre wittes that ye maye fele what thynge that good yt acceptable and perfaycte will of god is.
2 Derely beloved now are we ye sonnes of God and yet it dothe not appere what we shal be. But we knowe that when it shall appere we shal be lyke him. For we shall se him as he is.
21 which shall chaunge oure vile bodies that they maye be fassioned lyke vnto his glorious body acordinge to the workynge wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto hym silfe.
51 Beholde I shewe you a mystery. We shall not all slepe: but we shall all be chaunged52 and that in a moment and in the twinclinge of an eye at the sounde of the last trompe. For the trompe shall blowe and ye deed shall ryse incorruptible and we shalbe chaunged.
Arrependimento como mudança
Arrependei-vos, pois, e convertei-vos. O arrependimento é a mudança mais radical — da morte para a vida, do pecado para a graça.
8 Brynge forth therfore the frutes belongynge to repentauce.
3 I tell you naye: but except ye repent ye shall all in lyke wyse perysshe.
19 Repent ye therfore and turne yt youre synnes maye be done awaye when the tyme of refresshinge commeth which we shall have of the presence of the Lorde
Tempos e ciclos
Para tudo há uma estação e um tempo para cada propósito debaixo do céu. Deus faz novas todas as coisas no tempo certo.
3 This fyrst vnderstode that ther shall come in the last dayes mockers which will walke after their awne lustes4 and saye. Where is the promes of his comynge? For sence ye fathers dyed all thinges cotinue in ye same estate wher in they were at ye begynninge.5 This they knowe not (and that willyngly) how that the hevens a great whyle ago were and the erth that was in the water appered vp out of the water by the worde of god:6 by the which thinges the worlde yt then was perisshed over flowen wt the water.7 But the heves verely and erth which are now are kept by the same worde in store and reserved vnto fyre agaynst the daye of iudgement and perdicion of vngodly men.
