1 A wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her hands.

10 The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

33 The fear of Jehovah is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

11 Seek Jehovah and His strength; seek His face continually.

10 Who can find a woman of strength? For her value is far above rubies.

25 Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.

28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:29 Many daughters have dealt with strength, but you have excelled them all.

30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears Jehovah, she shall be praised.

4 A woman of strength is a crown to her husband, but she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.

16 A gracious woman holds on to honor, and ruthless men hold on to riches.

14 Houses and riches are the inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Jehovah.

3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God may not be blasphemed.

11 Likewise women must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

1 Then the kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.2 And five of them were wise, and five foolish.3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all nodded and fell asleep.6 And at midnight there was a cry: Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!7 Then all those virgins arose and prepared their lamps.8 And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.9 But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us!12 But he answered and said, Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man comes.
