12 I know how to live humbly, and I also know how to bear prosperity. In every place and under all circumstances I have been initiated into the secret of fulness and of hunger, of prosperity and of want.13 I am strong for everything in Him who gives me strength.
16 For this reason, as I have said, I do not lose courage, but even though my outward man is wasting away, my inward man is being renewed, day by day.17 For my light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working out for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,18 while I am gazing not at things seen, but at things unseen; for things seen are temporal, but things unseen are eternal.
35 Now do not fling away your bold confidence, for it has a great recompense of reward.
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope, unwavering (for He is faithful who promised);24 and let us consider one another, to provoke unto love and good works;25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the custom of some, but exhorting one another; all the more as you behold the Day drawing near.
6 now without faith it is impossible to please him; for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he ever rewards those who are seeking.
12 For living is the Word of God, and active, and sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing even to the severance of soul form spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the very thoughts and conceptions of the heart.
9 And let us not be weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
11 I am coming quickly. Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
12 Here is the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love him.
33 "I have said all this to you that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be courageous; I have overcome the world."
66 Therefore many of his disciples drew back and no longer companied with him.67 So Jesus appealed to the Twelve. "You also do not wish to leave me, do you?"68 Simon Peter answered. "To whom shall we go Master? You have words of eternal life;69 "and we have learned to believe and we know that you are the holy one of God."
18 "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.
7 "Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.8 "For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks the door is opened.
28 "Come unto me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.30 "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
26 "With men this is impossible," he said, "but with God all things are possible."
37 "For no word of God shall be void of power."
6 Of this I am fully persuaded, that He who has begun a good work in you will go on completing it until the day of Jesus Christ.
17 So there is a new creation when any man is in Christ. The old life has passed away, behold, the new is come.
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and the sea is no more.2 And I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.3 And I heard a loud voice out of the throne, crying. "Behold, Gods tent is with men, And he will tent with them, And they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them,4 And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, Nor will there be mourning, Nor crying, nor pain any more. Because the first things have passed away."
Permanecendo firme
11 In your diligence be free from sloth. Be glowing in spirit. Slave for the master.12 Rejoice in hope; be patient under affliction; continue stedfast in prayer.
12 Rejoice in hope; be patient under affliction; continue stedfast in prayer.
19 Never revenge yourself, beloved, but leave the field clear for Gods wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
17 So faith comes from a message heard, and the message comes from the teaching of Christ.
28 Now we know that all things continually work together for good to to those who love God, to those who have been the called according to his purpose.
16 Every Scripture, seeing that it is God-breathed, is also profitable for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness,17 so that the man of God may himself be complete, and completely equipped for every good work.
13 Hold fast the pattern of sound teaching you have heard from me in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.14 Guard the glorious trust which has been committed to you by the aid of the Holy Spirit who makes his home in us.
16 And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and a good hope in grace,17 comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word.
9 But if we confess our sins, faithful is he and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all wrong-doing.
14 Now the confidence which we have in him is this, that he listens to us whenever we ask anything that is in accordance with his will.15 And if we know that he is listening to us in what ever we are asking, we know that we obtain the petitions which we have made to him.
7 It knows how to be silent, it is trustful, hopeful, patient, enduring.
