28 Have you not known?

Have you not heard?

The everlasting God, the Lord,

The Creator of the ends of the earth,

Neither faints nor is weary.

*His understanding is unsearchable.

29 He gives power to the weak,

And to thosewhohave no might He increases strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,

And the young men shall utterly fall,

31 But those who *wait on the Lord

*Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

19 For the people *shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem;

You shall *weep no more.

He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry;

When He hears it, He will *answer you.

The Redeemer of Israel

1 But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob,

And He who formed you, O Israel:

"Fear not, *for I have redeemed you;

*I have called you by your name;

You are Mine.

2 *When you pass through the waters, *I willbe with you;

And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.

When you *walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,

Nor shall the flame scorch you.

3 For I am the Lord your God,

The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

*I gave Egypt for your ransom,

Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

12 *I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things *through Christ who strengthens me.

Seeing the Invisible

16 Therefore we *do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is *being renewed day by day. 17 For *our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 *while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, *which has great reward.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for *He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 *not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting oneanother, and *so much the more as you see *the Day approaching.

6 But without faith itis impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

12 For the word of God is*living and powerful, and *sharper than any *two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is *a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

9 And *let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap *if we do not lose heart.

11 Behold,*I am coming quickly! *Hold fast what you have, that no one may take *your crown.

12 *Here is the patience of the saints; *here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Loving God Under Trials

12 *Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive *the crown of life *which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations

1 God is our *refuge and strength,

*A very present help in trouble.

22 *Cast your burden on the Lord,

And *He shall sustain you;

He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

9 The Lord also will be a *refuge for the oppressed,

A refuge in times of trouble.

10 And those who *know Your name will put their trust in You;

For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

5 *Those who sow in tears

Shall reap in joy.

6 He who continually goes forth weeping,

Bearing seed for sowing,

Shall doubtless come again with *rejoicing,

Bringing his sheaves withhim.

24 *Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart,

All you who hope in the Lord.

105 *Your word is a lamp to my feet

And a light to my path.

18 *The Lordis near to all who call upon Him,

To all who call upon Him *in truth.

19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;

He also will hear their cry and save them.

33 These things I have spoken to you, that *in Me you may have peace. *In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, *I have overcome the world."

66 *From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?"

68 But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have *the words of eternal life. 69 *Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

18 *I will not leave you orphans; *I will come to you.

Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking

7 *"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.8 For *everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

28 Come to *Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take My yoke upon you *and learn from Me, for I am gentle and *lowly in heart, *and you will find rest for your souls.30 *For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but *with God all things are possible."

37 For *with God nothing will be impossible."

6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun *a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

17 Therefore, if anyone *is in Christ, heis*a new creation; *old things have passed away; behold, all things have become *new.

All Things Made New

1 Now *I saw a new heaven and a new earth, *for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw *the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared *as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, *the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them andbe their God. 4 *And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; *there shall be no more death, *nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

7 *The Lordis good,

A stronghold in the day of trouble;

And *He knows those who trust in Him.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

7 But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!"

16 *All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, *and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 *that the man of God may be complete, *thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Be Loyal to the Faith

13 *Hold fast *the pattern of *sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. 14 That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, *who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and *good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts *and establish you in every good word and work.

9 If we *confess our sins, He is *faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to *cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Confidence and Compassion in Prayer

14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that *if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

7 *bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
