4 But having answered, he said, It is written, Man will not live on bread alone, but on every word coming out through the mouth of God.
3 And the devil said to him, If thou are the Son of God, speak to this stone that it may become bread.4 And Jesus answered, saying to him, It is written, Man will not live on bread alone, but on every saying of God.
3 And he humbled thee, and allowed thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knew not, neither did thy fathers know, that he might make thee know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proce
Jesus, o pão vivo
Jesus é o pão da vida que desceu do céu. Quem come deste pão viverá para sempre. Ele é o sustento que satisfaz a fome da alma.
35 Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will, no, not hunger, and he who believes in me will, no, not ever thirst.
48 I am the bread of life.
51 I am the living bread, having come down out of heaven. If any man eats of this bread, he will live into the age. And also, the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
57 Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, also he who eats me, that man will also live because of me.58 This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread will live into the age.
Buscar o Reino acima de tudo
Não andeis ansiosos pelo que comer ou beber. Buscai primeiro o Reino de Deus, e todas estas coisas vos serão acrescentadas.
25 Because of this I say to you, be not anxious about your life, what ye may eat, or what ye may drink, nor yet for your body, what ye may wear. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the clothing?
29 And do not seek what ye may eat, and what ye may drink, and do not be unsettled.30 For the nations of the world seek all these things, and your Father knows that ye have need of these things.31 However, seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you.
31 In the meanwhile the disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, eat.32 But he said to them, I have food to eat that ye know not.33 The disciples therefore said to each other, Did any man bring him to eat?34 Jesus says to them, My food is that I do the will of him who sent me, and may finish his work.
17 For though the fig tree shall not flourish, nor shall fruit be in the vines, the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food. The flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls.18 Yet I will rejoice in LORD. I will joy in the God of my salvation.19 LORD, the Lord, is my strength. And he makes my feet like hinds' [feet], and will make me to walk upon my high places.
