Jesus disse: minhas ovelhas ouvem minha voz, eu as conheço e elas me seguem. A relação com Deus é íntima e pessoal.
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. A Bíblia é a voz confiável de Deus registrada para nos guiar em toda verdade.
16 All Scripture is breathed by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
20 knowing this first, that not any of the prophecies of Scripture came into being from personal exposition,21 for prophecy was not formerly brought forth by mans choice, but holy men of God spoke as they were propelled along by the Holy Spirit.
17 So then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.
24 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock;25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
28 But He said, No; rather, blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it.

4 I cried unto Jehovah with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah.
