A Palavra de Deus permanece para sempre. As Escrituras foram preservadas por Deus ao longo dos milênios para instrução, consolação e guia de todas as gerações.
A Palavra eterna
Céus e terra passarão, mas as palavras de Deus jamais passarão. Sua Palavra é eterna, infalível e imutável — a verdade que sustenta tudo.

A inspiração divina
Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. Homens santos falaram da parte do Senhor, e a Palavra escrita é a expressão fiel da vontade divina.
20 But first be assured of this - that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.21 For no prophecy was ever brought by the will of man; but moved by the Holy Spirit, men spoke for God.
1 God, who in ancient days spoke to our ancestors in the prophets, at many different times and by various methods,2 has at the end of these days spoken to us in a Son whom he appointed heir of all things; through whom also he made the universe.3 He being an emanation of Gods glory and stamp of his substance, and upholding the universe by the utterances of his power, after by himself making purification of our sins, has taken his seat on the right hand of the Majesty on High.
14 And the Word became flesh and tented with us. And we gazed on his glory - glory as of the Fathers only Son - full of grace and truth.
A Palavra como guia e tesouro
A Palavra de Deus é lâmpada para os pés, espada do Espírito e tesouro para o coração. Guardá-la e meditá-la nos protege do pecado.
8 But what does it say? The word is near thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart. That is the very word of faith which we preach;
17 So faith comes from a message heard, and the message comes from the teaching of Christ.18 But I ask, Did they fail to hear? Yes, truly, Their sound has gone out unto all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world.
4 For everything that was written of old has been written for our instruction, that through patience, and through the comfort of the Scriptures, we might have hope.
19 and may know the love of Christ which transcends all knowing, so that you may be filled with all the "plenitude" of God.
3 For this is good and pleasing in the eyes of our Saviour God,4 whose will it is that all men should be saved, and come into full knowledge of the truth.
