Sacrifício
O sacrifício é o coração do evangelho.
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
18 "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!"
28 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him,29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!" they said.
46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." "When he had said this, he breathed his last.
13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
O cordeiro sem defeito
Cristo nos resgatou com seu sangue precioso, como cordeiro sem defeito. Ele se ofereceu uma vez por todas para tirar os pecados do mundo.
18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors,19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, "so that we may serve the living God!
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all "sin.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance ": that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Nosso sacrifício em resposta
Movidos pelo amor de Cristo, somos chamados a oferecer nossas vidas, nossos bens e nosso serviço como sacrifício vivo. Deus se agrada da entrega generosa.
13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.
9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' "For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
9 But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, 'Salvation comes from the LORD.'"
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all —how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
36 , "Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."
24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace.
