1 Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat my flesh, they stumbled and fell.3 Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I have confidence.
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him who has power to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
4 And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into Gehenna; yes, I say to you, Fear Him!
3 When I am afraid I trust in You.4 In God (I praise His Word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.
6 Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
6 So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
22 You shall not fear them, for Jehovah your God Himself fights for you.
6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
