Cada ser humano é precioso aos olhos de Deus. As Escrituras revelam que fomos criados à imagem divina, resgatados por alto preço e chamados para um propósito eterno.
O valor que Deus nos dá
Nosso valor não vem de conquistas ou aparências, mas do fato de sermos amados pelo Criador. Deus cuida até dos passarinhos — quanto mais de nós!
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 Fear not therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Preciosos aos olhos de Deus
O Senhor declara que somos preciosos e valiosos aos seus olhos. Ele nos chama de propriedade exclusiva e nos reveste de glória.
4 Since you were precious in my sight, you have been honorable, and I have loved you: therefore will I give men for you, and people for your life.
5 Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a special treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
O verdadeiro valor
A Bíblia nos ensina que a fé, a integridade e o caráter são mais valiosos que ouro ou prata. O que tem valor eterno transcende o material.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the table of your heart:4 So shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
