Vitória
A vitória do cristão não depende de suas próprias forças, mas do poder de Deus que opera em nós. As Escrituras declaram que somos mais que vencedores por meio daquele que nos amou.
A vitória vem de Deus
O Senhor luta por nós. Quando confiamos nele, nenhuma arma forjada contra nós prosperará e nenhum inimigo prevalecerá.
4 for Jehovah your God [is] He who is going with you, to fight for you with your enemies -- to save you.
8 And Jehovah saith unto Joshua, Be not afraid of them, for into thy hand I have given them, there doth not stand a man of them in thy presence.
31 A horse is prepared for a day of battle, And the deliverance [is] of Jehovah!
3 For, not by their sword Possessed they the land, And their arm gave not salvation to them, But Thy right hand, and Thine arm, And the light of Thy countenance, Because Thou hadst accepted them.4 Thou [art] He, my king, O God, Command the deliverances of Jacob.
Mais que vencedores
Em todas as circunstâncias, a fé nos dá a vitória. O mundo tenta nos derrubar, mas Cristo já venceu o mundo e nos faz triunfar.
4 because every one who is begotten of God doth overcome the world, and this is the victory that did overcome the world -- our faith;
37 but in all these we more than conquer, through him who loved us;38 for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,39 nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of god, that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
31 What, then, shall we say unto these things? if God [is] for us, who [is] against us?
55 where, O Death, thy sting? where, O Hades, thy victory?56 and the sting of the death [is] the sin, and the power of the sin the law;57 and to God -- thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;
Força para a batalha
Deus nos reveste com sua armadura espiritual, nos fortalece e nos encoraja. Mesmo que o justo caia sete vezes, ele se levanta.
13 because of this take ye up the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to resist in the day of the evil, and all things having done -- to stand.
16 For seven [times] doth the righteous fall and rise, And the wicked stumble in evil.
13 In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries!
7 There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh.
