32 Tendo o profeta chegado à casa, eis que o menino estava morto sobre a cama. 33 Então, entrou, fechou a porta sobre eles ambos e orou ao Senhor. 34 Subiu à cama, deitou-se sobre o menino e, pondo a sua boca sobre a boca dele, os seus olhos sobre os olhos dele e as suas mãos sobre as mãos dele, se estendeu sobre ele; e a carne do menino aqueceu. 35 Então, se levantou, e andou no quarto uma vez de lá para cá, e tornou a subir, e se estendeu sobre o menino; este espirrou sete vezes e abriu os olhos.

32 And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed. 33 He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto Jehovah. 34 And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon him; and the flesh of the child waxed warm. 35 Then he returned, and walked in the house once to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

32 When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch.

33 He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the LORD.

34 Then he got on the bed and lay upon the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out upon him, the boy's body grew warm.

35 Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out upon him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.
