1 São estes os filhos de Israel: Rúben, Simeão, Levi, Judá, Issacar, Zebulom, 2 Dã, José, Benjamim, Naftali, Gade e Aser.
3 Os filhos de Judá: Er, Onã e Selá; estes três lhe nasceram de Bate-Sua, a cananeia. Er, o primogênito de Judá, foi mau aos olhos do Senhor, pelo que o matou. 4 Porém Tamar, nora de Judá, lhe deu à luz a Perez e a Zera. Todos os filhos de Judá foram cinco. 5 Os filhos de Perez: Hezrom e Hamul. 6 Os filhos de Zera: Zinri, Etã, Hemã, Calcol e Dara, cinco ao todo. 7 Os filhos de Carmi: Acar, o perturbador de Israel, que pecou na coisa condenada. 8 O filho de Etã: Azarias. 9 Os filhos de Hezrom, que lhe nasceram: Jerameel, Rão e Quelubai. 10 Rão gerou a Aminadabe; Aminadabe gerou a Naassom, príncipe dos filhos de Judá; 11 Naassom gerou a Salma, e Salma gerou a Boaz; 12 Boaz gerou a Obede, e Obede gerou a Jessé; 13 Jessé gerou a Eliabe, seu primogênito, a Abinadabe, o segundo, a Simeia, o terceiro, 14 a Natanael, o quarto, a Radai, o quinto, 15 a Ozém, o sexto, e a Davi, o sétimo. 16 As irmãs destes foram Zeruia e Abigail. Os filhos de Zeruia foram três: Abisai, Joabe e Asael. 17 Abigail deu à luz a Amasa; e o pai de Amasa foi Jéter, o ismaelita. 18 Calebe, filho de Hezrom, gerou filhos de Azuba, sua mulher, e de Jeriote; foram estes os filhos desta: Jeser, Sobabe e Ardom. 19 Morreu Azuba; e Calebe tomou para si a Efrata, da qual lhe nasceu Hur. 20 Hur gerou a Uri, e Uri gerou a Bezalel. 21 Então, Hezrom coabitou com a filha de Maquir, pai de Gileade; tinha ele sessenta anos quando a tomou, e ela deu à luz a Segube. 22 Segube gerou a Jair, que teve vinte e três cidades na terra de Gileade. 23 Gesur e Arã tomaram as aldeias de Jair, juntamente com Quenate e suas aldeias, a saber, sessenta lugares; todos estes foram filhos de Maquir, pai de Gileade. 24 Depois da morte de Hezrom, em Calebe-Efrata, Abia, mulher de Hezrom, lhe deu a Azur, pai de Tecoa. 25 Os filhos de Jerameel, primogênito de Hezrom, foram: Rão, o primogênito, Buna, Orém, Ozém e Aías. 26 Teve Jerameel outra mulher, cujo nome era Atara; esta foi a mãe de Onã. 27 Os filhos de Rão, primogênito de Jerameel, foram: Maaz, Jamim e Equer. 28 Foram os filhos de Onã: Samai e Jada; e os filhos de Samai: Nadabe e Abisur. 29 A mulher de Abisur chamava-se Abiail e lhe deu a Abã e a Molide. 30 Os filhos de Nadabe: Selede e Apaim; e Selede morreu sem filhos. 31 O filho de Apaim: Isi; o filho de Isi: Sesã. E o filho de Sesã: Alai. 32 Os filhos de Jada, irmão de Samai, foram: Jéter e Jônatas; e Jéter morreu sem filhos. 33 Os filhos de Jônatas: Pelete e Zaza; estes foram os filhos de Jerameel. 34 Sesã não teve filhos, mas filhas; e tinha Sesã um servo egípcio, cujo nome era Jara. 35 Deu, pois, Sesã sua filha por mulher a Jara, a quem ela deu à luz Atai. 36 Atai gerou a Natã, e Natã gerou a Zabade. 37 Zabade gerou a Eflal, e Eflal, a Obede. 38 Obede gerou a Jeú, e Jeú, a Azarias. 39 Azarias gerou a Heles, e Heles, a Eleasa. 40 Eleasa gerou a Sismai, e Sismai, a Salum. 41 Salum gerou a Jecamias, e Jecamias, a Elisama. 42 O primogênito de Calebe, irmão de Jerameel, foi Maressa, que foi o pai de Zife; o filho de Maressa foi Abi-Hebrom. 43 Os filhos de Hebrom: Coré, Tapua, Requém e Sema. 44 Sema gerou a Raão, pai de Jorqueão; e Requém gerou a Samai. 45 O filho de Samai foi Maom; e Maom foi o pai de Bete-Zur. 46 Efá, a concubina de Calebe, deu à luz a Harã, a Mosa e a Gazez; e Harã gerou a Gazez. 47 Os filhos de Jadai: Regém, Jotão, Gesã, Pelete, Efá e Saafe. 48 De Maaca, concubina, gerou Calebe a Seber e a Tiraná; 49 Maaca deu à luz também a Saafe, pai de Madmana, e a Seva, pai de Macbena e de Gibeá; e Acsa foi filha de Calebe. 50 Estes foram os filhos de Calebe. Os filhos de Hur, primogênito de Efrata, foram: Sobal, pai de Quiriate-Jearim, 51 Salma, pai dos belemitas, e Harefe, pai de Bete-Gader. 52 Os filhos de Sobal, pai de Quiriate-Jearim, foram: Haroé e Hazi-Hamenuote. 53 As famílias de Quiriate-Jearim foram: os itritas, os puteus, os sumateus e os misraeus; destes procederam os zoratitas e os estaoleus. 54 Os filhos de Salma: Belém e os netofatitas, Atrote-Bete-Joabe e Hazi-Hamanaate, zoreu. 55 As famílias dos escribas que habitavam em Jabez foram os tiratitas, os simeatitas e os sucatitas; são estes os queneus, que vieram de Hamate, pai da casa de Recabe.

9 The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 And Ram begot Amminadab; and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11 and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz;
12 and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
13 and Jesse begot his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third;
14 Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth;
15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh.
16 And their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
17 And Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
18 And Caleb the son of Hezron begot children of Azubah his wife--and of Jerioth--and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 And Azubah died, and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
20 And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezalel.
21 And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead; whom he took to wife when he was threescore years old; and she bore him Segub.
22 And Segub begot Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23 And Geshur and Aram took Havvoth-jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24 And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephrath, then Abiah Hezron's wife bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
25 And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron were Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26 And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 And the sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada; and the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban, and Molid.
30 And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
31 And the sons of Appaim: Ishi. And the sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
33 And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35 So Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bore him Attai.
36 And Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad;
37 and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed;
38 and Obed begot Jehu, and Jehu begot Azariah;
39 and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah;
40 and Eleasah begot Sisamai, and Sisamai begot Shallum;
41 and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.
42 And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his first-born, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 And Shema begot Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begot Shammai.
45 And the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46 And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Maacah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 And the wife of Shaaph the father of Madmannah bore Sheva the father of Machbenah and the father of Gibea. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50 These were the sons of Caleb. The sons of Hur the first-born of Ephrath: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim;
51 Salma the father of Beth-lehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, and half of the Menuhoth.
53 And the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites, and the Eshtaolites.
54 The sons of Salma: Beth-lehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
55 And the families of scribes that dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
