20 But when he was giving thought to these things, an angel of the Lord came to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, have no fear of taking Mary as your wife; because that which is in her body is of the Holy Spirit.

21 And she will give birth to a son; and you will give him the name Jesus; for he will give his people salvation from their sins.

20 Indem er aber also gedachte, siehe, da erschien ihm ein Engel des HErrn im Traum und sprach: Joseph, du Sohn Davids fürchte dich nicht, Maria, dein Gemahl, zu dir zu nehmen; denn das in ihr geboren ist, das ist von dem Heiligen Geist.

21 Und sie wird einen Sohn gebären, des Namen sollst du JEsus heißen; denn er wird sein Volk selig machen von ihren Sünden.
