3 Os filhos de Judá: Er, e Onã, e Selá; estes três lhe nasceram da filha de Suá, a cananeia. E Er, o primogênito de Judá, foi mau à vista do SENHOR; que o matou.
4 E Tamar, a sua nora, lhe deu à luz Perez e Zerá. E todos os filhos de Judá foram cinco.
5 Os filhos de Perez: Hezrom, e Hamul.
6 E os filhos de Zerá: Zinri, e Etã, e Hemã, e Calcol, e Dara; cinco deles ao todo.
7 E o filho de Carmi: Acar, o perturbador de Israel, que transgrediu na coisa amaldiçoada.
8 E o filho de Etã: Azarias.
9 Os filhos de Hezrom, que lhe nasceram: Jerameel, e Rão, e Quelubai.
10 E Rão gerou Aminadabe; e Aminadabe gerou Naassom, príncipe dos filhos de Judá;
11 e Naassom gerou Salma, e Salma gerou Boaz,
12 e Boaz gerou Obede, e Obede gerou Jessé.
13 E Jessé gerou o seu primogênito Eliabe; e Abinadabe, o segundo; e Siméia, o terceiro;
14 Natanael, o quarto; Radai, o quinto;
15 Ozém, o sexto; Davi, o sétimo;
16 cujas irmãs eram Zeruia, e Abigail. E os filhos de Zeruia: Abisai, e Joabe, e Asael; três.
17 E Abigail deu à luz a Amasa; e o pai de Amasa foi Jéter, o ismaelita.
18 E Calebe, o filho de Hezrom, gerou filhos de Azuba, a sua esposa, e de Jeriote; os filhos dela são estes: Jeser, e Sobabe, e Ardom.
19 E morreu Azuba e Calebe tomou para si Efrata, a qual deu à luz Hur.
20 E Hur gerou Uri, e Uri gerou Bezalel.
21 E, depois disso, Hezrom, o pai de Gileade, conheceu a filha de Maquir, com quem se casou quando tinha sessenta anos de idade; e ela lhe deu à luz Segube.
22 E Segube gerou Jair, que tinha vinte e três cidades na terra de Gileade.
23 E Gesur e Arã tomaram as aldeias de Jair, juntamente com Quenate, e as suas aldeias, a saber, sessenta cidades. Todas estas pertenciam aos filhos de Maquir, o pai de Gileade.
24 E depois da morte de Hezrom em Calebe-Efrata, Abia, a esposa de Hezrom, deu-lhe à luz Azur, o pai de Tecoa.
25 E os filhos de Jerameel, o primogênito de Hezrom, foram: Rão, o primogênito, e Buna, e Orém, e Ozém, e Aías.
26 Jerameel teve também outra esposa, cujo nome era Atara; ela foi a mãe de Onã.
27 E os filhos de Rão, o primogênito de Jerameel foram: Maaz, e Jamim, e Equer.
28 E os filhos de Onã foram: Samai e Jada. E os filhos de Samai: Nadabe e Abisur.
29 E o nome da esposa de Abisur era Abigail, e ela deu à luz a Abã e a Molide.
30 E os filhos de Nadabe: Selede e Apaim; mas Selede morreu sem filhos.
31 E o filho de Apaim: Isi. E o filho de Isi: Sesã. E o filho de Sesã: Alai.
32 E os filhos de Jada, o irmão de Samai: Jéter, e Jônatas; e Jéter morreu sem filhos.
33 E os filhos de Jônatas: Pelete e Zaza. Estes foram os filhos de Jerameel.
34 Ora, Sesã não teve filhos, mas filhas. E Sesã teve um servo egípcio, cujo nome era Jara.
35 E Sesã deu a sua filha para Jara, o seu servo, como esposa; e ela deu à luz Atai.
36 E Atai gerou Natã, e Natã gerou Zabade.
37 E Zabade gerou Eflal, e Eflal gerou Obede.
38 E Obede gerou Jeú, e Jeú gerou Azarias.
39 E Azarias gerou Heles, e Heles gerou Eleasa.
40 E Eleasa gerou Sismai, e Sismai gerou Salum.
41 E Salum gerou Jecamias, e Jecamias gerou Elisama.
42 Ora, o filho de Calebe, o irmão de Jerameel foram, Messa, o seu primogênito, o qual foi o pai de Zife; e os filhos de Maressa, o pai de Hebrom.
43 E os filhos de Hebrom: Coré, e Tapua, e Requém, e Sema.
44 E Sema gerou Raão, o pai de Jorqueão; e Requém gerou Samai.
45 E o filho de Samai foi Maom; e Maom foi o pai de Bete-Zur.
46 E Efá, a concubina de Calebe, deu à luz a Harã, e Mosa, e Gazez; e Harã gerou Gazez.
47 E os filhos de Jadai: Regém, e Jotão e Gesã, e Pelete, e Efá e Saafe.
48 Maaca, concubina de Calebe, deu à luz a Seber, e Tiraná.
49 Ela deu também à luz Saafe, o pai de Madmana; Seva, o pai de Gibeá; e a filha de Calebe foi Acsa.
50 Estes foram os filhos de Calebe, o filho de Hur, o primogênito de Efrata: Sobal, o pai de Quiriate-Jearim,
51 Salma, o pai de Belém; Harefe, o pai de Bete-Gader.
52 E Sobal, o pai de Quiriate-Jearim, teve filhos: Haroé e a metade dos manaatitas.
53 E as famílias de Quiriate-Jearim: os itritas, e os puteus, e os sumateus, e os misraeus; deles vieram os zoratitas, e os estaoleus.
54 Os filhos de Salma: Belém, e os netofatitas; Atarote, a casa de Joabe; e a metade dos manassitas, e os zoreus.
55 E as famílias dos escribas que habitaram em Jabez: os tiratitas, os simeatitas, e os sucatitas. Estes são os queneus que vieram de Hamate, o pai da casa de Recabe.

3 The sons of Judah: Er and Onan, and Shelah, three born to him from the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the first-born of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD, and He killed him.
4 And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah [were] five.
5 The sons of Pharez: Hezron and Hamul.
6 And the sons of Zerah [were] Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, all of them five.
7 And the sons of Carmi: Achan, the troubler of Israel, who sinned in the cursed thing.
8 And the son of Ethan [was] Azariah.
9 And the sons also of Hezron, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 And Ram fathered Amminadab. And Amminadab fathered Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah.
11 And Nahshon fathered Salma, and Salma fathered Boaz,
12 and Boaz fathered Obed, and Obed fathered Jesse.
13 And Jesse fathered his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
14 Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 Ozem the sixth, David the seventh.
16 Their sisters [were] Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah [were] Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
17 And Abigail bore Amasa. And the father of Amasa [was] Jether, the Ishmaelite.
18 And Caleb the son of Hezron fathered [sons] of Azubah [his] wife, and of Jerioth. Her sons [are] these: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 And when Azubah died, Caleb took Ephrath to himself, who bore him Hur.
20 And Hur fathered Uri, and Uri fathered Bezaleel.
21 And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he [was] sixty years old. And she bore him Segub.
22 And Segub fathered Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
23 And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and its towns, sixty cities. All these [belonged] to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24 And after Hezron died in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah, Hezron's wife bore him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25 And the sons of Jerahmeel the first-born of Hezron: Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, [and] Ahijah.
26 Jerahmeel also had another wife, whose name [was] Atarah. She [was] the mother of Onam.
27 And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerahmeel: were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 And the sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 And the name of Abishur's wife [was] Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.
30 And the sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. But Seled died without sons.
31 And the son of Appaim [was] Ishi. And the son of Ishi [was] Sheshan. And the son of Sheshan [was] Ahlai.
32 And the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without sons.
33 And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [was] Jarha.
35 And Sheshan gave his daughter to his servant Jarha for a wife, and she bore him Attai.
36 And Attai fathered Nathan, and Nathan fathered Zabad,
37 and Zabad fathered Ephlal, and Ephlal fathered Obed,
38 and Obed fathered Jehu, and Jehu fathered Azariah,
39 and Azariah fathered Helez, and Helez fathered Eleasah,
40 and Eleasah fathered Sisamai, and Sisamai fathered Shallum,
41 and Shallum fathered Jekamiah, and Jekamiah fathered Elishama.
42 And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his first-born, the father of Ziph. And the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 And the sons of Hebron [were] Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 And Shema fathered Raham, the father of Jorkoam. And Rekem fathered Shammai.
45 And the son of Shammai [was] Maon. And Maon [was] the father of Beth-zur.
46 And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez. And Haran fathered Gazez.
47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem and Jotham and Geshan and Pelet and Ephah and Shaaph.
48 Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber, and Tirhanah.
49 She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Caleb's daughter [was] Achsah.
50 These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur. The first-born of Ephratah [was] Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim;
51 Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Manahethites.
53 And the families of Kirjath-jearim [were] the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites. From them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.
54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half the Manahethites, the Zorites.
55 And the families of the scribes who lived at Jabez [were] the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These [are] the Kenites who came from Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
