1 我 的 心 灵 消 耗 ， 我 的 日 子 灭 尽 ； 坟 墓 为 我 预 备 好 了 。 2 真 冇 戏 笑 我 的 在 我 这 里 ， 我 眼 常 见 他 们 惹 动 我 。 3 愿 主 拿 凭 据 给 我 ， 自 己 为 我 作 保 。 在 你 以 外 谁 肯 与 我 击 掌 呢 ？ 4 因 你 使 他 们 心 不 明 理 ， 所 以 你 必 不 高 举 他 们 。 5 控 告 他 的 朋 友 、 以 朋 友 为 可 抢 夺 的 ， 连 他 儿 女 的 眼 睛 也 要 失 明 。 6 神 使 我 作 了 民 中 的 笑 谈 ； 他 们 也 吐 唾 沫 在 我 脸 上 。 7 我 的 眼 睛 因 忧 愁 昏 花 ； 我 的 百 体 好 象 影 儿 。 8 正 直 人 因 此 必 惊 奇 ； 无 辜 的 人 要 兴 起 攻 击 不 敬 虔 之 辈 。 9 然 而 ， 义 人 要 持 守 所 行 的 道 ； 手 洁 的 人 要 力 上 加 力 。 10 至 于 你 们 众 人 ， 可 以 再 来 辩 论 罢 ！ 你 们 中 间 ， 我 找 不 着 一 个 智 慧 人 。 11 我 的 日 子 已 经 过 了 ； 我 的 谋 算 、 我 心 所 想 望 的 已 经 断 绝 。 12 他 们 以 黑 夜 为 白 昼 ， 说 ： 亮 光 近 乎 黑 暗 。 13 我 若 盼 望 阴 间 为 我 的 房 屋 ， 若 下 榻 在 黑 暗 中 ， 14 若 对 朽 坏 说 ： 你 是 我 的 父 ； 对 虫 说 ： 你 是 我 的 母 亲 姊 妹 ； 15 这 样 ， 我 的 指 望 在 那 里 呢 ？ 我 所 指 望 的 谁 能 看 见 呢 ？ 16 等 到 安 息 在 尘 土 中 ， 这 指 望 必 下 到 阴 间 的 门 闩 那 里 了 。

1 My spirit hath been destroyed, My days extinguished -- graves [are] for me.2 If not -- mockeries [are] with me. And in their provocations mine eye lodgeth.3 Place, I pray Thee, my pledge with Thee; Who is he that striketh hand with me?4 For their heart Thou hast hidden From understanding, Therefore Thou dost not exalt them.5 For a portion he sheweth friendship, And the eyes of his sons are consumed.6 And he set me up for a proverb of the peoples, And a wonder before them I am.7 And dim from sorrow is mine eye, And my members as a shadow all of them.8 Astonished are the upright at this, And the innocent against the profane Stirreth himself up.9 And the righteous layeth hold [on] his way, And the clean of hands addeth strength, And -- dumb are they all.10 Return, and come in, I pray you, And I find not among you a wise man.11 My days have passed by, My devices have been broken off, The possessions of my heart!12 Night for day they appoint, Light [is] near because of darkness.13 If I wait -- Sheol [is] my house, In darkness I have spread out my couch.14 To corruption I have called: -- `Thou [art] my father.` `My mother` and `my sister` -- to the worm.15 And where [is] now my hope? Yea, my hope, who doth behold it?16 [To] the parts of Sheol ye go down, If together on the dust we may rest.
