1 "耶和华这样说： ‘摩押三番四次犯罪， 我必不收回惩罚他的命令； 因为他把以东王的骸骨焚烧成灰。
2 我必降火在摩押， 烧毁加略的堡垒； 在扰攘、吶喊、吹角声中， 摩押必被消灭。
3 我必剪除他的掌权者， 也把他所有的领袖一同杀死。’这是耶和华说的。
4 "耶和华这样说： ‘犹大三番四次犯罪， 我必不收回惩罚他的命令； 因为他弃绝耶和华的律法， 不遵守他的典章； 反被他们列祖跟从的偶像， 使他们走错了路。
5 我必降火在犹大， 烧毁耶路撒冷的堡垒。’
6 "耶和华这样说： ‘以色列三番四次犯罪， 我必不收回惩罚他的命令； 因为他为了银子卖义人， 为了一双鞋卖穷人。
7 他们践踏穷人的头， 好像践踏地面的尘土； 他们把困苦人应有的权益夺去； 儿子和父亲与同一个女子亲近， 故意亵渎我的圣名。
8 他们在各祭坛旁， 躺卧在别人抵押的衣服上面； 在他们 神的殿中， 饮用拿剥削回来的钱所买的酒。
9 我不是在他们面前把亚摩利人消灭了吗？亚摩利人虽像香柏树高大， 像橡树那样坚固； 我却要灭绝它树上的果子， 拔除树下的根。
10 我不是带你们出埃及地， 领你们在旷野度过四十年， 叫你们得着亚摩利人的地为业吗？
11 我从你们子孙中兴起先知， 从年轻人中兴起拿细耳人； 以色列人哪！ 这不是事实吗？’这是耶和华的宣告。
12 ‘但你们迫使拿细耳人喝酒， 吩咐先知说： 不要说预言。
13 看哪！ 我要使你脚下的地摇荡， 好像满载禾捆的车子摇荡一样。
14 行动迅速的不能逃走， 强而有力的不能施展他的勇力， 勇士也不能救自己；
15 拿弓的人站立不住， 跑得快的不能逃走， 骑马的也不能救自己。
16 到那日， 最勇敢的战士， 也是赤身逃跑。’这是耶和华的宣告。"
1 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime. 2 But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet; 3 and I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah.
4 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk. 5 But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
6 Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes— 7 they that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go unto the same maiden, to profane my holy name: 8 and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined.
9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. 10 Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite. 11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah. 12 But ye gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
13 Behold, I will press you in your place, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves. 14 And flight shall perish from the swift; and the strong shall not strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself; 15 neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself; neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself; 16 and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah.
