1 我又看见一只兽从海里上来， 有十角七头， 十角上戴着十个皇冠， 七头上有亵渎的名号。

2 我所看见的兽， 样子好像豹， 脚像熊的脚， 口像狮子的口。龙把自己的能力、王位和大权柄， 都交给了它。

3 兽的七头中有一个似乎受了致命伤， 但那致命伤却医好了。全地的人都很惊奇， 跟从那兽。

4 因为龙把权柄交给了兽， 大家就拜龙， 也拜兽， 说： "有谁可以跟这兽相比？有谁能与它作战呢？"

5 龙又给了那兽一张说夸大和亵渎话的嘴巴， 也给了它权柄可以任意而行四十二个月。

6 兽就开口向 神说亵渎的话， 亵渎他的名和他的帐幕， 以及那些住在天上的。

7 它得了允许能跟圣徒作战， 并且能胜过他们； 又有权柄给了它， 可以管辖各支派、各民族、各方言、各邦国。

8 所有住在地上的人， 名字没有记在创世以来被杀的羊羔之生命册上的， 都要拜它。

9 凡有耳的， 就应当听！

10 如果人应该被俘掳， 就必被俘掳； 如果人应该被刀杀， 就必被刀杀。在这里圣徒要有忍耐和信心！

11 我又看见另一只兽从地里上来。它有两个角好像羊羔， 说话好像龙。

12 它在头一只兽面前， 行使头一只兽的一切权柄。它使全地和住在地上的人， 都拜那受过致命伤而医好了的头一只兽。

13 它又行大奇事， 甚至在人面前叫火从天上降在地上。

14 它得了能力， 在头一只兽面前能行奇事， 迷惑了住在地上的人， 吩咐住在地上的人， 要为那受过刀伤而还活着的兽做个像。

15 又有能力赐给它， 可以把气息给兽像， 使兽像能够说话， 并且能够杀害那些不拜兽像的人。

16 那从地里上来的兽， 又要所有的人， 无论大小贫富， 自由的和作奴隶的， 都在右手或额上， 给自己作个记号。

17 这记号就是兽的名字或兽名的数字， 除了那有记号的， 谁也不能买， 谁也不能卖。

18 在这里要有智慧。有悟性的人， 就让他计算兽的数字， 因为这是人的数字， 它的数字是六百六十六。

1 and he stood upon the sand of the sea.

And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as though it had been smitten unto death; and his death-stroke was healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast; 4 and they worshipped the dragon, because he gave his authority unto the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? and who is able to war with him? 5 and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, even them that dwell in the heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 8 And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain. 9 If any man hath an ear, let him hear. 10 If any man is for captivity, into captivity he goeth: if any man shall kill with the sword, with the sword must he be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

11 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like unto a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he maketh the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed. 13 And he doeth great signs, that he should even make fire to come down out of heaven upon the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who hath the stroke of the sword and lived. 15 And it was given unto him to give breath to it, even to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead; 17 and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six.
