1 在犹大王约坦、亚哈斯、希西家执政的时候， 耶和华的话临到摩利沙人弥迦， 是关于撒玛利亚和耶路撒冷的话。

2 万民哪！ 你们都要听； 地和地上所遍满的， 你们要聆听； 主耶和华要指证你们的不是， 主必从他的圣殿指证你们的不是。

3 看哪！ 耶和华离开自己的地方， 他降下来， 踏在地的高处。

4 群山在他脚下融化， 众谷裂开， 如蜡在火前一般， 像水冲下斜坡一般，

5 这都是因为雅各的过犯， 以色列家的罪恶。雅各的过犯是什么呢？不就是撒玛利亚吗？犹大家的罪恶是什么呢？不就是耶路撒冷吗？

6 所以我必使撒玛利亚变成田间的废堆， 作栽种葡萄之处； 我必把撒玛利亚的石头倒在谷中， 连它的根基都露出来。

7 它一切雕刻的偶像必被打碎； 它全部的钱财， 都要用火烧尽； 它所有的偶像， 我都要毁灭； 因为从妓女钱财榨取的， 最后也必归为妓女的钱财。

8 为此我要痛哭哀号， 赤膊光脚而行； 又要哀号如豺狼， 悲鸣像鸵鸟。

9 因为撒玛利亚的创伤无法医治， 并且殃及犹大， 直逼我子民的城门， 就是耶路撒冷。

10 不要在迦特报信， 不要在巴歌哭泣； 却要在伯．亚弗拉打滚于尘土中。

11 沙斐的居民哪！ 你们赤身羞愧走过去吧。撒南的居民不敢出来（"不敢出来"或译： "也逃不掉"）； 伯．以薛人的哀号， 要把你们立足之地夺去。

12 玛律的居民， 急待得着幸福， 因有灾祸从耶和华那里降下， 临到耶路撒冷的城门。

13 拉吉的居民哪！ 要用快马套车， 这就是锡安子民（"子民"原文作"女子"）罪恶的开端； 因为以色列的过犯， 都在你那里找到了。

14 因此要把妆奁， 送给摩利设．迦特； 亚革悉的各家， 必用诡诈对待以色列的众王。

15 玛利沙的居民哪！ 我要再使那征服你的来到你那里； 以色列的荣耀， 必去到亚杜兰。

16 犹大啊！ 为你所喜爱的儿女， 你要剃头， 使你的头光秃， 完全光秃如同秃鹰； 因为他们都从你那里被掳去了。

1 The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

2 Hear, ye peoples, all of you; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 3 For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. 4 And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, as waters that are poured down a steep place. 5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem? 6 Therefore I will make Samaria as a heap of the field, and as places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations thereof. 7 And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her hires shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I lay desolate; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered them, and unto the hire of a harlot shall they return.

8 For this will I lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a lamentation like the ostriches. 9 For her wounds are incurable; for it is come even unto Judah; it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. 10 Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all: at Beth-le-aphrah have I rolled myself in the dust. 11 Pass away, O inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame: the inhabitant of Zaanan is not come forth; the wailing of Beth-ezel shall take from you the stay thereof. 12 For the inhabitant of Maroth waiteth anxiously for good, because evil is come down from Jehovah unto the gate of Jerusalem. 13 Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O inhabitant of Lachish: she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee. 14 Therefore shalt thou give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing unto the kings of Israel. 15 I will yet bring unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him that shall possess thee: the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam. 16 Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair for the children of thy delight: enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
