1 耶和华又使我看见大祭司约书亚站在耶和华的使者面前， 撒但也站在约书亚右边控告他。
2 耶和华对撒但说： "撒但哪！ 耶和华斥责你， 那拣选了耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你。这个人不是从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？"
3 那时， 约书亚穿着污秽的衣服， 站在使者的面前。
4 使者吩咐那些侍立在他面前的说： "你们要脱去他污秽的衣服。"又对约书亚说： "看哪！ 我已经除去了你的罪孽， 要给你穿上华美的礼服。"
5 我说： "你们要把洁净的冠冕戴在他的头上。"他们就把洁净的冠冕戴在他的头上， 又给他穿上华美的衣服。那时， 耶和华的使者正在旁边站着。
6 耶和华的使者劝戒约书亚说：
7 "万军之耶和华这样说： ‘你若遵行我的道， 谨守我的吩咐， 你就必治理我的家， 看守我的院子， 我必赐你特权， 可以在这些侍立在我面前的使者中间自由出入。
8 大祭司约书亚啊！ 你和坐在你面前的众同伴都要听， （他们都是预表将来奇事的人， ）我必使我的仆人， 就是大卫的苗裔出生。
9 看我在约书亚面前所立的石头， 在这一块石头上有七眼。看哪！ 我要亲自雕琢这石头（这是万军之耶和华的宣告）。在一日之内， 我要除去这地的罪孽。
10 到那日（这是万军之耶和华的宣告）， 你们各人要邀请自己的邻舍来， 坐在葡萄树下和无花果树下。’"
1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary. 2 And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel. 4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel. 5 And I said, Let them set a clean mitre upon his head. So they set a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of Jehovah was standing by.
6 And the angel of Jehovah protested unto Joshua, saying, 7 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee a place of access among these that stand by. 8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch. 9 For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; upon one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall ye invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig-tree.
