5 For let this mind be in you which {was} also in Christ Jesus;

6 who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;

7 but emptied himself, taking a bondman's form, taking his place in {the} likeness of men;

8 and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and {that the} death of {the} cross.

5 Qu'il y ait donc en vous un même sentiment qui a été en Jésus-Christ.

6 Lequel étant en forme de Dieu, n'a point regardé comme une usurpation d'être égal à Dieu.

7 Cependant il s'est anéanti lui-même, ayant pris la forme de serviteur, fait à la ressemblance des hommes;

8 Et étant trouvé en figure comme un homme, il s'est abaissé lui-même, et a été obéissant jusques à la mort, à la mort même de la croix.
