Malaquias 4

1 For behold, the day cometh, burning as a furnace; and all the proud and all that work wickedness shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith Jehovah of hosts, so that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 And unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth and leap like fatted calves. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I prepare, saith Jehovah of hosts.

4 Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, the statutes and ordinances. 5 Behold, I send unto you Elijah the prophet, before the coming of the great and terrible day of Jehovah. 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

1 PORQUE he aquí, ✝4.1 cp. 3.2.viene el día ✝4.1 2 Ts. 1.8.ardiente como un horno; y todos los soberbios, y todos los que hacen maldad, serán ✝4.1 Is. 47.14.estopa; y ✝4.1 Mt. 3.10. Lc. 3.9.aquel día que vendrá, los abrasará, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, el cual no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.

2 Mas á vosotros los que teméis mi nombre, nacerá ✝4.2 Sal. 84.11. Lc. 1.78. Jn. 1.4,9 y 12.46. 2 P. 1.19. Ap. 2.28.el Sol de justicia, y en sus alas traerá salud: y saldréis, y saltaréis como becerros de la manada.

3 Y hollaréis á los malos, los cuales serán ceniza bajo las plantas de vuestros pies, en el día que yo hago, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.

4 Acordaos ✝4.4 Ex. 20.3, etc.de la ley de Moisés mi siervo, al cual encargué ✝4.4 Dt. 4.10.en Horeb ordenanzas y leyes para todo Israel.

5 ✝ 4.5 cp. 3.1. He aquí, yo os envío á ✝4.5 Mt. 11.14.Elías el profeta, ✝4.5 Jl. 2.31.antes que venga el día de Jehová grande y terrible.

6 El ✝4.6 Lc. 1.17.convertirá el corazón de los padres á los hijos, y el corazón de los hijos á los padres: no sea que yo venga, y con destrucción hiera la tierra.
