Romanos 12

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your intelligent service. 2 And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace which has been given to me, to every one that is among you, not to have high thoughts above what he should think; but to think so as to be wise, as God has dealt to each a measure of faith. 4 For, as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office; 5 thus we, being many, are one body in Christ, and each one members one of the other. 6 But having different gifts, according to the grace which has been given to us, whether it be prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 or service, let us occupy ourselves in service; or he that teaches, in teaching; 8 or he that exhorts, in exhortation; he that gives, in simplicity; he that leads, with diligence; he that shews mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be unfeigned; abhorring evil; cleaving to good: 10 as to brotherly love, kindly affectioned towards one another: as to honour, each taking the lead in paying it to the other: 11 as to diligent zealousness, not slothful; in spirit fervent; serving the Lord. 12 As regards hope, rejoicing: as regards tribulation, enduring: as regards prayer, persevering: 13 distributing to the necessities of the saints; given to hospitality. 14 Bless them that persecute you; bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with those that rejoice, weep with those that weep. 16 Have the same respect one for another, not minding high things, but going along with the lowly: be not wise in your own eyes: 17 recompensing to no one evil for evil: providing things honest before all men: 18 if possible, as far as depends on you, living in peace with all men; 19 not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath; for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. 20 If therefore thine enemy should hunger, feed him; if he should thirst, give him drink; for, so doing, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. 21 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

3 Digo pues por la gracia que me es dada, á cada cual que está entre vosotros, que ✝12.3 1 Co. 4.6.no tenga más alto concepto de sí que el que debe tener, sino que piense de sí con templanza, ✝12.3 1 Co. 7.17. Ef. 4.7.conforme á la medida de la fe que Dios repartió á cada uno.

4 Porque ✝12.4 1 Co. 12.12. Ef. 4.4,16.de la manera que en un cuerpo tenemos muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros no tienen la misma operación;

5 Así ✝12.5 Jn. 17.21. 1 Co. 6.15 y 12.20,27. Ef. 1.23.muchos somos un cuerpo en Cristo, mas todos ✝12.5 Ef. 4.25.miembros los unos de los otros.

6 ✝ 12.6 1 Co. 12.4. De manera que, teniendo diferentes dones según la gracia que nos es dada, si el de ✝12.6 Hch. 2.18.profecía, úsese conforme á la medida de la fe;

7 ó si ministerio, en servir; ó el que enseña, en doctrina;

8 El que exhorta, en exhortar; el que reparte, hágalo en simplicidad; el que preside, con solicitud; el que hace misericordia, con alegría.

9 El amor sea sin fingimiento: aborreciendo lo malo, llegándoos á lo bueno;

10 Amándoos los unos á los otros con caridad fraternal; previniéndoos con honra los unos á los otros;

11 En el cuidado no perezosos; ardientes en espíritu; sirviendo al Señor;

12 Gozosos en la esperanza; sufridos en la tribulación; ✝12.12 Lc. 18.1.constantes en la oración;

13 ✝ 12.13 1 Co. 16.1. 2 Co. 9.1,12. Ga. 2.10. Comunicando á las necesidades de los santos; siguiendo la hospitalidad.

14 Bendecid á los ✝12.14 Mt. 5.44.que os persiguen: bendecid y no maldigáis.

15 Gozaos con los que ✝12.15 Job 30.25.se gozan: llorad con los que lloran.

16 Unánimes ✝12.16 cp. 15.5.entre vosotros: ✝12.16 Sal. 131.1.no altivos, mas acomodándoos á los humildes. ✝12.16 Pr. 3.7. cp. 11.25No seáis sabios en vuestra opinión.

17 ✝ 12.17 Mt. 5.39. No paguéis á nadie mal por mal; ✝12.17 2 Co. 8.21.procurad lo bueno delante de todos los hombres.

18 Si se puede hacer, cuanto está en vosotros, ✝12.18 Mr. 9.50.tened paz con todos los hombres.

19 No os venguéis ✝12.19 Lv. 19.18.vosotros mismos, amados míos; antes dad lugar á la ira; porque escrito está: ✝12.19 Dt. 32.35. He. 10.30.Mía es la venganza: yo pagaré, dice el Señor.

20 Así que, ✝12.20 Pr. 25.21,22.si tu enemigo tuviere hambre, dale de comer; si tuviere sed, dale de beber: que haciendo esto, ascuas de fuego amontonas sobre su cabeza.

21 No seas vencido de lo malo; mas vence con el bien el mal.
