Gálatas 4

1 Ich sage aber: solange der Erbe unmündig ist, unterscheidet er sich in nichts von einem Knechte, *O. Sklaven wiewohl er Herr ist von allem; 2 sondern er ist unter Vormündern und Verwaltern bis zu der vom Vater festgesetzten Frist. 3 Also auch wir, als wir Unmündige waren, waren wir geknechtet unter die Elemente der Welt; 4 als aber die Fülle der Zeit gekommen war, sandte Gott seinen Sohn, geboren *Eig. geworden von einem Weibe, geboren *Eig. geworden unter Gesetz, 5 auf daß er die, welche unter Gesetz waren, loskaufte, auf daß wir die Sohnschaft empfingen. 6 Weil ihr aber Söhne seid, so hat Gott den Geist seines Sohnes in unsere Herzen gesandt, der da ruft: Abba, Vater! 7 Also bist du nicht mehr Knecht, *O. Sklave sondern Sohn; wenn aber Sohn, so auch Erbe durch Gott.

8 Aber damals freilich, als ihr Gott nicht kanntet, dientet ihr denen, *O. waret ihr Sklaven derer die von Natur nicht Götter sind; *Vergl. 2. Chron. 13,99 jetzt aber, da ihr Gott erkannt habt, vielmehr aber von Gott erkannt worden seid, wie wendet ihr wieder um zu den schwachen und armseligen Elementen, denen ihr wieder von neuem dienen *O. Sklaven sein wollt? 10 Ihr beobachtet Tage und Monate und Zeiten und Jahre. 11 Ich fürchte um euch, ob ich nicht etwa vergeblich an *O. in Bezug auf euch gearbeitet habe.

12 Seid wie ich, denn auch ich bin wie ihr, Brüder, ich bitte euch; ihr habt mir nichts zuleide *O. keinerlei Unrecht getan. 13 Ihr wisset aber, daß ich in Schwachheit des Fleisches euch ehedem *O. im Anfang das Evangelium verkündigt habe; 14 und meine Versuchung, *O. nach and. Les.: die Versuchung für euch die in meinem Fleische war, habt ihr nicht verachtet noch verabscheut, sondern wie einen Engel Gottes nahmet ihr mich auf, wie Christum Jesum. 15 Was war denn eure Glückseligkeit? Denn ich gebe euch Zeugnis, daß ihr, wenn möglich, eure Augen ausgerissen und mir gegeben hättet. 16 Bin ich also euer Feind geworden, weil ich euch die Wahrheit sage?

17 Sie eifern um euch nicht gut, sondern sie wollen euch ausschließen, *d. h. von jeder Gemeinschaft mit dem Apostel auf daß ihr um sie eifert. 18 Es ist aber gut, allezeit im Guten zu eifern, und nicht allein, wenn ich bei euch gegenwärtig bin.

19 Meine Kindlein, um die ich abermals Geburtswehen habe, bis Christus in euch gestaltet worden ist; 20 ich wünschte aber jetzt bei euch gegenwärtig zu sein und meine Stimme umzuwandeln, denn ich bin eurethalben in Verlegenheit.

21 Saget mir, die ihr unter Gesetz sein wollt, höret ihr das Gesetz nicht? 22 Denn es steht geschrieben, daß Abraham zwei Söhne hatte, einen von der Magd und einen von der Freien; 23 aber der von der Magd war nach dem Fleische geboren, der aber von der Freien durch die Verheißung, 24 was einen bildlichen Sinn hat; denn diese sind zwei Bündnisse: eines vom Berge Sinai, das zur Knechtschaft *O. Sklaverei gebiert, welches Hagar ist. 25 Denn Hagar ist der Berg Sinai in Arabien, entspricht aber dem jetzigen Jerusalem, denn sie ist mit ihren Kindern in Knechtschaft; *O. Sklaverei26 aber das Jerusalem droben ist frei, welches unsere Mutter ist. 27 Denn es steht geschrieben: "Sei fröhlich, du Unfruchtbare, die du nicht gebierst; brich in Jubel aus und schreie, die du keine Geburtswehen hast! denn die Kinder der Einsamen sind zahlreicher als derjenigen, die den Mann hat." *Jes. 54,128 Ihr aber, Brüder seid, gleichwie *O. gemäß Isaak, Kinder der Verheißung. 29 Aber so wie damals der nach dem Fleische Geborene den nach dem Geiste Geborenen verfolgte, also auch jetzt. 30 Aber was sagt die Schrift? "Stoße hinaus die Magd und ihren Sohn, denn der Sohn der Magd soll nicht erben mit dem Sohne der Freien." *1. Mose 21,1031 Also, Brüder, sind wir nicht Kinder der Magd, sondern der Freien.

"Kia hari, e te pākoko

kāhore nei e whānau!

Hāmama, karanga,

e te mea kāhore nei kia whakamamae;

he tini kē hoki ngā tamariki

a te mea mahue i ā te mea whai tāne."

28 Nā, ko tātou nei, e ōku tēina, e rite ana ki a Īhaka, he tamariki nā te kupu whakaari. 29 Engari e rite ana anō ki tō mua, ko te mea nō te kikokiko nei tōna whānautanga, whakatoia ana e ia te tama nō te Wairua nei tōna; e pērā ana anō ināianei. 30 Heoi, e pēhea ana tā te karaipiture? "Peia atu te wahine pononga rāua ko tāna tama; e kore hoki te tama a te wahine pononga e whiwhi tahi me te tama a te wahine rangatira ki te taonga." 31 Nā, ehara tātou, e ōku tēina, i te tamariki nā te wahine pononga, engari nā te wahine rangatira.
