Malaquias 2

1 Und nun, ihr Priester, an euch ergeht dieses Gebot! 2 Wenn ihr nicht höret, und wenn ihr es nicht zu Herzen nehmet, meinem Namen Ehre zu geben, spricht Jehova der Heerscharen, so werde ich den Fluch unter *O. wider euch senden, und eure Segnungen verfluchen; ja, ich habe sie auch verflucht, weil ihr es nicht zu Herzen nehmet. 3 Siehe, ich schelte euch die Saat und streue euch Mist in das Angesicht, den Mist eurer Feste, und man wird euch zu ihm hintragen. 4 Und ihr werdet wissen *O. erkennen, erfahren, daß ich dieses Gebot an euch gesandt habe, damit mein Bund mit Levi sei, spricht Jehova der Heerscharen. 5 Mein Bund mit ihm war das Leben und der Friede; und ich gab sie ihm zur Furcht, und er fürchtete mich, und er, er zitterte vor meinem Namen. 6 Das Gesetz *O. Lehre, Unterweisung der Wahrheit war in seinem Munde, und Unrecht fand sich nicht auf seinen Lippen; er wandelte mit mir in Frieden und Geradheit, und viele brachte er von ihrer Ungerechtigkeit *O. Schuld, Missetat zurück. 7 Denn die Lippen des Priesters sollen Erkenntnis bewahren, und das Gesetz *O. Lehre, Unterweisung sucht man aus seinem Munde, denn er ist ein Bote Jehovas der Heerscharen. 8 Ihr aber seid abgewichen von dem Wege, habt viele straucheln gemacht im Gesetz, ihr habt den Bund Levis zerstört, spricht Jehova der Heerscharen. 9 So habe auch ich euch bei dem ganzen Volke verächtlich und niedrig gemacht, in demselben Maße, wie ihr meine Wege nicht bewahret und die Person ansehet beim Gesetz *d. h. in der Handhabung des Gesetzes; vergl. Micha 3,11.

10 Haben wir nicht alle einen Vater? Hat nicht ein Gott *El uns geschaffen? Warum handeln wir treulos einer gegen den anderen, indem wir den Bund unserer Väter entweihen? 11 Juda hat treulos gehandelt, und ein Greuel ist verübt worden in Israel und in Jerusalem; denn Juda hat das Heiligtum Jehovas entweiht, welches er liebte, und ist mit der Tochter eines fremden Gottes *El vermählt. 12 Jehova wird den Mann, der solches tut, den wachenden und den, der einen Laut von sich gibt, und den, welcher Jehova der Heerscharen eine Opfergabe darbringt, aus den Zelten Jakobs ausrotten. 13 Und zweitens tut ihr dieses: ihr bedecket den Altar Jehovas mit Tränen, mit Weinen und Seufzen, so daß er sich nicht mehr zu eurer Opfergabe wendet, noch Wohlgefälliges aus eurer Hand annimmt. 14 Und ihr sprechet: Warum? Weil Jehova Zeuge gewesen ist zwischen dir und dem Weibe deiner Jugend, an welchem du treulos gehandelt hast, da sie doch deine Genossin und das Weib deines Bundes *d. h. mit dem du dich feierlich verbunden hast ist. 15 Und hat nicht einer sie gemacht? und sein war der Überrest des Geistes. Und was wollte *O. suchte der eine? Er suchte einen Samen Gottes. So hütet euch in eurem Geiste *O. um eures Geistes willen; so auch v 16, und handle nicht treulos gegen das Weib deiner Jugend! 16 Denn ich hasse Entlassung, spricht Jehova, der Gott Israels; und er bedeckt mit Gewalttat sein Gewand *d. h. ein solcher bedeckt usw.; O. und Gewalttat bedeckt sein Gewand, spricht Jehova der Heerscharen. So hütet euch in eurem Geiste, daß ihr nicht treulos handelt! 17 Ihr habt Jehova mit euren Worten ermüdet; und ihr sprechet: Womit haben wir ihn ermüdet? Damit, daß ihr saget: Jeder Übeltäter ist gut in den Augen Jehovas, und an ihnen hat er Gefallen; oder *d. h. oder wenn es nicht so ist wo ist der Gott des Gerichts?

3 "Nanā, ka rīria e ahau te purapura, he mea mō koutou, ka ākiritia atu hoki he paru kararehe ki runga ki ō koutou mata, arā ko te paru o ā koutou whakahere, ā, ka riro tahi atu koutou me tēnā. 4 Ā, ka mōhio koutou nāku tēnei whakahau i tuku ki a koutou, kia mau ai tāku kawenata ki a Rīwai," e ai tā Ihowā o ngā mano. 5 "I a ia tāku kawenata mō te ora, mō te rongo mau; he mea hoatu nāku ki a ia kia wehi ai ia, ā, i wehi ia ki ahau, ā, hopohopo ana ki tōku ingoa. 6 I roto i tōna māngai te ture o te pono, kīhai hoki te hē i kitea ki ōna ngutu. I haere tahi ia i ahau i runga i te rongo mau, i te tika, he tini hoki i tahuri mai i a ia i te kino.

7 "Ko te tikanga hoki mā ngā ngutu o te tohunga he tiaki mātauranga, ā, mā rātou e rapu te ture ki tōna māngai; nō te mea ko te karere ia a Ihowā o ngā mano. 8 Ko koutou ia kua peka kē i te ara, kua mea i te ture hei tūtukitanga waewae mō ētahi, he tokomaha; hē iho i a koutou te kawenata ki a Rīwai," e ai tā Ihowā o ngā mano. 9 "Nā, kua meinga nā koutou e ahau kia whakahāweatia, kia iti, i te aroaro o ngā tāngata katoa, kua rite ki tā koutou kīhai nā i mau ki āku ara, ā, i ngā mea o te ture he whakapai tangata tā koutou."

11 Kua tinihanga a Hūrā, e mahia ana hoki te mea whakarihariha i roto i a Īharaira, i Hiruhārama; kua noa hoki i a Hūrā te tapu o Ihowā, tāna hoki i aroha ai, ā, mārenatia ana māna te tamāhine a te atua kē. 12 Ka hātepea atu e Ihowā ki te tangata nāna tēnei mahi te kaiwhakaoho rāua ko te tangata whakaō, i roto i ngā tēneti o Hākopa, rātou anō ko te kaitāpae i te whakahere ki a Ihowā o ngā mano.

13 Nā, kei te mahi anō koutou i tēnei. Kei te hīpoki koutou i te āta a Ihowā ki te roimata, ki te tangi, ki te auē, nāwai ā ka kore ia e aro ki te whakahere i muri atu, kāhore hoki e manako ki te tango mai i tā tō koutou ringa. 14 Heoi, e mea nā koutou, "Nā te aha?" Nō te mea he kaiwhakaatu a Ihowā mō tāu ki te wahine o tōu taitamarikitanga i tinihangatia rā e koe, ahakoa ko ia tōu hoa, ko te wahine o tāu kawenata.

15 He teka ianei kotahi tāna i hanga ai, ahakoa i a ia anō te toenga iho o te wairua? Ā, nā te aha i kotahi ai? I rapu ia i te uri atua. Nā, tiakina tō koutou wairua, kaua hoki tētahi e tinihanga ki te wahine o tōna taitamarikitanga.

16 "E kino ana hoki ahau ki te whakarere," e ai tā Ihowā, tā te Atua o Īharaira; "ki te hīpoki anō hoki i tōna kākahu ki te tutū," e ai tā Ihowā o ngā mano.

Nō reira, tiakina tō koutou wairua, kia kaua koutou e tinihanga.

17 Kua hōhā a Ihowā i ā koutou kupu, ā, e mea nā koutou, "I whakahōhātia ia e mātou ki te aha?"

I a koutou e kī nā, "He pai ki te titiro a Ihowā ngā tāngata katoa e mahi ana i te kino e manako ana hoki ia ki a rātou. Kei hea oti te Atua o te whakawā?"
