Judgment Before the Great White Throne

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence *See Ps. 102:26earth and sky fled away, and *ch. 12:8;Dan. 2:35no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and *Dan. 7:10books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is *See ch. 3:5the book of life. And *Rom. 14:10;2 Cor. 5:10;See ch. 11:18the dead were judged by what was written in the books, *See Matt. 16:27according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, *ch. 6:8Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, *[See ver. 12above]according to what they had done. 14 Then *[See ver. 13above] Death and Hades *[ch. 21:4;Luke 20:36;1 Cor. 15:26] were thrown into the lake of fire. This is *ver. 6the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, *Matt. 13:42,50he was thrown into the lake of fire.
