daughters of Barzillai the Giliadite to wife, and was called after their name. 62 These sought their writing of the genealogies, but they were not founde: therefore were they put from the Priesthood. 63 And Tirshatha saide vnto them, that they should not eate of the most holy thing, tell there rose vp a Priest with Vrim and Thummim. 64 The whole Congregation together was two and fourtie thousande, three hundreth and threescore, 65 Beside their seruants and their maydes: of whome were seuen thousande, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and among them were two hundreth singing men and singing women. 66 Their horses were seuen hundreth, and sixe and thirtie: their mules, two hundreth and fiue and fourtie: 67 Their camels foure hundreth, and fiue and thirtie: their asses, sixe thousand, seuen hundreth and twentie. 68 And certeine of the chiefe fathers, when they came to the house of the Lord, which was in Ierusalem, they offred willingly for the house of God, to set it vp vpon his fundation. 69 They gaue after their abilitie vnto the treasure of the worke, euen one and threescore thousand drammes of golde, and fiue thousand pieces of siluer, and an hundreth Priests garments. 70 So the Priests and the Leuites, and a certeine of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
1 Ora estes são os filhos da província, que subiram do cativeiro dentre os exilados, a quem Nabucodonozor, rei de Babilônia, tinha levado para Babilônia, e que voltaram para Jerusalém e para Judá, cada um para a sua cidade,

43 Netinins: os filhos de Zia, os filhos de Hasufa, os filhos de Tabaote;
44 os filhos de Queros, os filhos de Sia, os filhos de Padom;
45 os filhos de Lebaná, os filhos de Hagaba, os filhos de Acub;
46 os filhos de Hagabe, os filhos de Sanlai, os filhos de Hanã;
47 os filhos de Gidel, os filhos de Gaar, os filhos de Reaías;
48 os filhos de Rezim, os filhos de Necoda, os filhos de Gazão;
49 os filhos de Uza, os filhos de Paseá, os filhos de Besai;
50 os filhos de Asna, os filhos de Meunim, os filhos de Nefisim;

55 Filhos dos servos de Salomão: os filhos de Sotai, os filhos de Soferete, os filhos de Peruda;

57 os filhos de Sefatias, os filhos de Hatil, os filhos de Poquerete- Hazebaim, os filhos de Ami.
58 Todos os Netinins e os filhos dos servos de Salomão eram trezentos e noventa e dois.
59 Estes foram os que subiram de Tel-Melá, de Tel-Harsa, de Querube, de Adã e de Imer; não puderam, porém, provar que as suas famílias e a sua linhagem eram de Israel:
60 os filhos de Delaías, os filhos de Tobias, os filhos de Necoda, seiscentos e cinqüenta e dois.
61 E dos filhos dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Habaías, os filhos de Hacoz, os filhos de Barzilai, que tomou por mulher uma das filhas de Barzilai gileadita, e que foi chamado do seu nome.
62 Estes procuraram os seus títulos nos registros genealógicos, porém não os encontraram; por isso foram tidos por imundos e excluídos do sacerdócio.
63 O governador intimou-lhes que não comessem das cousas santíssimas, até que se levantasse sacerdote com Urim e com Tumim.
64 Toda esta congregação junta foi quarenta e dois mil e trezentos e sessenta,
65 além dos seus escravos e das suas escravas, dos quais havia sete mil e trezentos e trinta e sete; e tinham duzentos cantores e cantoras.
66 Os seus cavalos eram setecentos e trinta e seis; os seus machos, duzentos e quarenta e cinco;
67 os seus camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; os seus jumentos, seis mil e setecentos e vinte.
68 Alguns dos cabeças das famílias, quando chegaram à casa de Jeová, que é em Jerusalém, fizeram ofertas voluntárias para a casa de Deus, a fim de a restabelecer no seu lugar:
69 deram conforme as suas posses para a tesouraria da obra sessenta e um mil dáricos de ouro, cinco mil minas de prata, e cem vestes sacerdotais.
70 Os sacerdotes e os levitas, e alguns do povo, e os cantores, e os porteiros, e os Netinins habitaram nas suas cidades, e todo o Israel nas suas cidades.
