1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, 2 Thou shalt say also to the children of Israel, Whosoeuer he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that dwell in Israel, that giueth his children vnto Molech, he shall die the death, ye people of ye land shall stone him to death. 3 And I will set my face against that man and cut him off from among his people, because he hath giuen his children vnto Molech, for to defile my Sanctuarie, and to pollute mine holy Name. 4 And if the people of the lande hide their eyes, and winke at that man when he giueth his children vnto Molech, and kill him not, 5 Then will I set my face against that man, and against his familie, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him to comit whoredome with Molech, from among their people. 6 If any turne after such as worke with spirits, and after soothsayers, to go a whoring after them, then will I set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people. 7 Sanctifie your selues therefore, and be holie, for I am the Lord your God. 8 Keepe ye therefore mine ordinances, and doe them. I am the Lord which doeth sanctifie you. 9 If there be any that curseth his father or his mother, he shall die the death: seeing hee hath cursed his father and his mother, his blood shalbe vpon him. 10 And the man that committeth adulterie with another mans wife, because he hath comitted adulterie with his neighbours wife, the adulterer and the adulteresse shall die the death. 11 And the man that lyeth with his fathers wife, because hee hath vncouered his fathers shame, they shall both dye: their blood shalbe vpon them. 12 Also the man that lyeth with his daughter in lawe, they both shall dye the death, they haue wrought abomination, their blood shalbe vpon them. 13 The man also that lyeth with the male, as one lyeth with a woman, they haue both committed abomination: they shall dye the death, their blood shalbe vpon them. 14 Likewise he that taketh a wife and her mother, committeth wickednesse: they shall burne him and them with fire, that there be no wickednes among you. 15 Also the man that lyeth with a beast, shall dye the death, and ye shall slay the beast. 16 And if a woman come to any beast, and lye therewith, then thou shalt kill the woman and the beast: they shall die the death, their blood shalbe vpon them. 17 Also the man that taketh his sister, his fathers daughter, or his mothers daughter, and seeth her shame and she seeth his shame, it is villenie: therefore they shall be cut off in the sight of their people, because he hath vncouered his sisters shame, he shall beare his iniquitie. 18 The man also that lyeth with a woman hauing her disease, and vncouereth her shame, and openeth her fountaine, and she open the foutaine of her blood, they shall bee euen both cut off from among their people. 19 Moreouer thou shalt not vncouer the shame of thy mothers sister, nor of thy fathers sister: because he hath vncouered his kin, they shall beare their iniquitie. 20 Likewise the man that lyeth with his fathers brothers wife, and vncouereth his vncles shame: they shall beare their iniquitie, and shall die childlesse. 21 So the man that taketh his brothers wife, committeth filthines, because he hath vncouered his brothers shame: they shalbe childles. 22 Ye shall keepe therefore all mine ordinances and all my iudgements, and doe them, that the land, whither I bring you to dwel therein, spue you not out. 23 Wherefore ye shall not walke in the maners of this nation which I cast out before you: for they haue committed all these things, therefore I abhorred them. 24 But I haue saide vnto you, ye shall inherite their land, and I will giue it vnto you to possesse it, euen a land that floweth with milke and honie: I am the Lord your God, which haue separated you from other people. 25 Therefore shall ye put difference betweene cleane beastes and vncleane, and betweene vncleane foules and cleane: neither shall ye defile your selues with beastes and foules, nor with any creeping thing, that ye ground bringeth forth, which I haue separated from you as vncleane. 26 Therefore shall ye be holie vnto me: for I the Lord am holy, and I haue separated you from other people, that ye shoulde be mine. 27 And if a man or woman haue a spirite of diuination, or soothsaying in them, they shall die the death: they shall stone them to death, their blood shalbe vpon them.
1 Disse Jeová a Moisés:
2 Também dirás aos filhos de Israel: Qualquer dos filhos de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinarem em Israel, que der de seus filhos a Moloque certamente será morto; o povo da terra o apedrejará.
3 Eu porei o meu rosto contra esse homem, e o cortarei dentre o seu povo; porque deu de seus filhos a Moloque, para contaminar o meu santuário, e para profanar o meu santo nome.
4 Se o povo da terra fechar os olhos para não ver esse homem, quando der de seus filhos a Moloque, e não o fizer morrer;
5 eu porei o meu rosto contra esse homem, e contra a sua família, do seu povo o cortarei a ele e a todos os que após ele idolatrarem a Moloque.
6 O homem que se voltar para os necromantes e os feiticeiros, para idolatrar com eles, contra esse homem porei o meu rosto, e o cortarei dentre o seu povo.
7 Santificai-vos e sede santos; pois eu sou Jeová vosso Deus.
8 Guardareis os meus estatutos, e os cumprireis: eu sou Jeová que vos santifico.
9 Quem amaldiçoar a seu pai ou a sua mãe certamente será morto. Amaldiçoou a seu pai ou a sua mãe; o seu sangue recairá sobre ele.
10 Se um homem cometer adultério com mulher casada, isto é, se cometer adultério com a mulher do seu próximo, certamente serão mortos o adúltero e a adúltera.
11 Se um homem se deitar com a mulher de seu pai, terá descoberto a nudez de seu pai; ambos certamente serão mortos; o seu sangue recairá sobre eles.
12 Se um homem se deitar com a sua nora, ambos certamente serão mortos; cometeram uma confusão, o seu sangue recairá sobre eles.
13 Se um homem se deitar com outro homem, como se faz com uma mulher, ambos terão praticado uma abominação; certamente serão mortos, e o seu sangue recairá sobre eles.
14 Se um homem tomar uma mulher e a mãe dela, maldade é: serão queimados com o fogo, tanto ele como elas, para que não haja maldade no meio de vós.
15 Se um homem se ajuntar com um animal, certamente será morto; também matareis o animal.
16 Se uma mulher se chegar a um animal e se ajuntar com ele, matará a mulher e bem assim o animal; certamente serão mortos, e o seu sangue recairá sobre eles.
17 Se um homem tomar sua irmã, por parte de pai, ou por parte de mãe, e vir a nudez dela, e ela vir a nudez dele; é uma coisa vergonhosa. Serão exterminados à vista dos filhos do seu povo; descobriu a nudez de sua irmã; ele levará sobre si a iniqüidade.
18 Se um homem se deitar com uma mulher no tempo da enfermidade dela, e descobrir a sua nudez; ele desnudou a fonte dela, e ela descobriu a fonte de seu sangue: ambos serão exterminados dentre o seu povo.
19 Não descobrirás a nudez da irmã de tua mãe, nem da irmã de teu pai: porque isso será descobrir a nudez de tua parenta chegada: levarão sobre si a sua iniqüidade.
20 Se um homem se deitar com a mulher de seu tio, descobriu a nudez de seu tio; levarão sobre si o seu pecado; morrerão sem filhos.
21 Se um homem tomar a mulher de seu irmão, é uma impureza; descobriu a nudez de seu irmão; eles não terão filhos.
22 Guardareis todos os meus estatutos, e todos os meus juízos, e os cumprireis; para que não vos vomite a terra, na qual vos hei de introduzir para nela morardes.
23 Não andareis nos costumes da nação, que eu hei de expulsar de diante de vós; porque fizeram todas estas coisas e por isso os aborreci.
24 Mas a vós vos tenho dito: Herdareis a sua terra, e eu vô-la darei para a possuirdes, uma terra que mana leite e mel. Eu sou Jeová que vos separei dos povos.
25 Fareis separação entre os animais limpos e imundos; e não fareis as vossas almas abomináveis por causa de animais, ou de aves, ou de tudo de que está cheia a terra, as quais coisas apartei de vós como imundas.
26 Sereis para mim santos, porque eu Jeová sou santo, e vos separei dos povos, para serdes meus.
27 O homem, (ou mulher), que for necromante ou feiticeiro, certamente será morto; apedrejá-lo-ão, o seu sangue recairá sobre eles.
