Eclesiastes 10

ပ​ညာ၏​ထူး​ကဲ​ခြင်း

1 အ​ထုံ​သ​မား​လုပ်​သော နံ့​သာ​ဆီ​ကို သေ​သော​ယင်​ကောင်​သည် နံ​စေ​သ​ကဲ့​သို့၊ အ​နည်း​ငယ်​သော​အ​မိုက်​သည် ပ​ညာ​နှင့် ဂုဏ်​အ​သ​ရေ​ထင်​ရှား​သော​သူ​ကို ထို​အ​တူ ဖြစ်​စေ​တတ်၏။ 2 ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သော​သူ၏​နှ​လုံး​သည် မိ​မိ​လက်​ယာ​လက်၌ ရှိ၏။ မိုက်​သော​သူ၏​နှ​လုံး​မူ​ကား၊ မိ​မိ​လက်​ဝဲ​လက်၌ ရှိ၏။ 3 မိုက်​သော​သူ​သည် လမ်း၌​သွား​စဉ်​တွင်​ပင် သ​တိ​လစ်၍၊ ငါ​သည်​လူ​မိုက်​ဖြစ်၏​ဟု ခပ်​သိမ်း​သော​သူ​တို့​အား ပြော​တတ်၏။ 4 မင်း​သည် သင့်​ကို​စိတ်​ဆိုး​လျှင်၊ ကိုယ်​နေ​သင့်​ရာ​အ​ရပ်​မှ မ​ရွှေ့​နှင့်။ သည်း​ခံ​ခြင်း​သည် ကြီး​သော​အ​ပြစ်​ကို ဖြေ​တတ်၏။

5 မင်း​မှား​ယွင်း​ခြင်း​အား​ဖြင့် ဖြစ်​တတ်​သော၊ နေ​အောက်၌ ငါ​မြင်​ရ​သော​အ​မှု​ဆိုး​ဟူ​မူ​ကား၊ 6 မိုက်​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် မြင့်​သော​အ​ရပ်၊ သူ​ဌေး​တို့​သည် နိမ့်​သော​အ​ရပ်၌ ထိုင်​ရ​သော​အ​မှု၊ 7 ကျွန်​တို့​သည် မြင်း​ကို​စီး၍ မှူး​မတ်​တို့​သည် ကျွန်​ကဲ့​သို့ မြေ​ပေါ်​မှာ ခြေ​ဖြင့်​သွား​ရ​သော​အ​မှု​ကို ငါ​မြင်​လေ​ပြီ။ 8 တွင်း​ကို တူး​သော​သူ​သည် ထို​တွင်း​ထဲ​သို့ ကျ​လိမ့်​မည်။ ခြံ​ကို​ဖျက်​သော​သူ​သည် မြွေ​ကိုက်​ခြင်း​ကို ခံ​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 9 ကျောက်​တို့​ကို​ရွှေ့​သော​သူ​သည် ဖိ​ခြင်း​ကို ခံ​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ ထင်း​ခုတ်​သော​သူ​သည်​လည်း ရှ​န​လိမ့်​မည်။ 10 ပု​ဆိန်​တုံး​သော​အ​ခါ မ​သွေး​ဘဲ​နေ​လျှင် သာ၍ အား​ထုတ်​ရ​မည်။ ပ​ညာ​သည် အ​မှု​ဆောင်​ရ​သော​အ​ခွင့်​ကို ပေး၍ ကျေး​ဇူး​ကြီး၏။

11 မြွေ​သည် ပြု​စား​ခြင်း​ကို​မ​ခံ။ ကိုက်​မိ​လျှင် အ​လ​မ္ပယ်​သ​မား ကျေး​ဇူး​မ​ရှိ။ 12 ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သော​သူ၏​စ​ကား​သည် လျောက်​ပတ်၏။ မိုက်​သော​သူ၏​နှုတ်​မူ​ကား သူ့​ကိုယ်​ကို​မျို​တတ်၏။ 13 သူ၏​စ​ကား​အ​စ​သည် မိုက်​ခြင်း၊ အ​ဆုံး​သည် အ​ပြစ်​ပြု​တတ်​သော ရူး​ခြင်း​ဖြစ်၏။ 14 မိုက်​သော​သူ​သည် စ​ကား​များ​တတ်၏။ သို့​သော်​လည်း​ဖြစ်​လ​တ္တံ့​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို လူ​သည် မ​ပြော​နိုင်​ရာ။ လူ​နောက်၌ အ​ဘယ်​သို့​ဖြစ်​လ​တ္တံ့​သည်​ကို အ​ဘယ်​သူ ပြော​နိုင်​သ​နည်း။ 15 မြို့​သို့​သွား​သော​လမ်း​ကို မ​သိ​သော​သူ​ကဲ့​သို့ မိုက်​သော​သူ​သည် ကြိုး​စား​အား​ထုတ်​သော်​လည်း၊ သူ​တစ်​ပါး​တို့​ကို ပင်​ပန်း​စေ​တတ်၏။

16 ငယ်​သား​အ​စိုး​ရ၍ မှူး​မတ်​များ​အ​ချိန်​မဲ့ နံ​နက်​စော​စော စား​သောက်​တတ်​သော​ပြည်​သည် အ​မင်္ဂ​လာ​ရှိ၏။ 17 မင်း​သား​အ​စိုး​ရ၍၊ မှူး​မတ်​တို့​သည် လွန်​ကြူး​စွာ မ​စား​မ​သောက်​ဘဲ၊ အ​ချိန်​တန်​မှ အား​ဖြည့်​ခြင်း​ငှာ​သာ၊ စား​သောက်​တတ်​သော​ပြည်​သည် မင်္ဂ​လာ​ရှိ၏။ 18 အ​လွန်​ပျင်း​ရိ​ခြင်း​အား​ဖြင့် အိမ်​သည်​ဆွေး​မြေ့​တတ်၏။ လက်​နှင့် မ​ပြု​ပြင်​ဘဲ​နေ​လျှင် အိမ်​မိုး​ယို​တတ်၏။ 19 ပျော်​မွေ့​ခြင်း​ငှာ ပွဲ​ကို​လုပ်​တတ်၏။ စ​ပျစ်​ရည်​သည်​လည်း ရွှင်​လန်း​စေ​တတ်၏။ ငွေ​မူ​ကား၊ အ​ရာ​ရာ၌ နိုင်​တတ်၏။ 20 ရှင်​ဘု​ရင်​ကို စိတ်​ဖြင့်​မျှ မ​ကျိန်​ဆဲ​နှင့်။ လူ​ကြီး​ကို အိပ်​ခန်း​ထဲ၌ မ​ကျိန်​ဆဲ​နှင့်။ မိုး​ကောင်း​ကင်၌ ကျင်​လည်​သော​ငှက်​သည် ထို​အ​သံ​ကို​ဆောင်​သွား​လိမ့်​မည်။ ပျံ​တတ်​သော​အ​ကောင်​သည် ထို​အ​မှု​ကို​ဖော်​ပြ​လိမ့်​မည်။

1 Dead flies cause the oil of the perfumer to send forth an evil odor; so doth a little folly outweigh wisdom and honor. 2 A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left. 3 Yea also, when the fool walketh by the way, his understanding faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool. 4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for gentleness allayeth great offences.

5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as it were an error which proceedeth from the ruler: 6 folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in a low place. 7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking like servants upon the earth.

8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh through a wall, a serpent shall bite him. 9 Whoso heweth out stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood is endangered thereby. 10 If the iron be blunt, and one do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. 11 If the serpent bite before it is charmed, then is there no advantage in the charmer.

12 The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. 13 The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his talk is mischievous madness. 14 A fool also multiplieth words: yet man knoweth not what shall be; and that which shall be after him, who can tell him? 15 The labor of fools wearieth every one of them; for he knoweth not how to go to the city.

16 Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! 17 Happy art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness! 18 By slothfulness the roof sinketh in; and through idleness of the hands the house leaketh. 19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh glad the life; and money answereth all things. 20 Revile not the king, no, not in thy thought; and revile not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the heavens shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
