Contentamento
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
20 Then Job arose, and tore his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshiped,
21 And said, Naked came I out of my motherâs womb, and naked shall I return there: the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, to be content.
15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and clothing let us be with these things content.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing?
5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
8 Philip said unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it will satisfy us.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without justice.
