37 Jésus lui dit : tu aimeras le Seigneur ton Dieu de tout ton cœur, et de toute ton âme, et de toute ta pensée.

38 Celui-ci est le premier et le grand commandement.

39 Et le second semblable à celui-là, est : tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même.

40 De ces deux commandements dépendent toute la Loi et les Prophètes.

37 Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
