18 Chasten your son while there is hope, and do not set your soul on making him die.

6 And these words which I command you this day shall be in your heart.

7 And you shall carefully teach them to your sons, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

26 She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness.

10 Remember the day that you stood before the LORD your God in Horeb, when the LORD said to me, Gather the people to Me, and I will make them hear My words so that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and they may teach their sons.

1 An instruction of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, [to] my law; bow down your ears to the words of my mouth.

2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will speak dark sayings of old,

3 which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

4 We will not hide [them] from their sons, showing to the generations to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done.

24 He who spares his rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him early.

15 Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a boy sent off causes shame to his mother.

8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother;

9 for they [shall be] an ornament of grace to your head and chains around your neck.

5 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

6 And these words which I command you this day shall be in your heart.

7 And you shall carefully teach them to your sons, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

3 Lo, children [are] the inheritance of the LORD; the fruit of the womb [is] a reward.

12 Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.

3 which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

4 We will not hide [them] from their sons, showing to the generations to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done.

6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

8 Taste and see that the LORD [is] good; blessed [is] the man [who] trusts in Him.

9 O fear the LORD, His holy ones; for [there is] nothing lacking to those who fear Him.

10 The young lions lack, and suffer hunger; but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

11 Come, listen to me, [my] sons; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

14 But Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.

15 and that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

17 Correct your son, and he shall give you rest; yea, he shall give delight to your soul.

14 But continue in the things that you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned [them] ,

15 and that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

1 Sons, hear the instruction of a father, and listen in order to know understanding.

4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

18 Therefore you shall lay up these my words in your hearts and in your souls, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, so that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

19 And you shall teach them to your sons, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

20 And [you] shall write them upon the door posts of your house, and upon your gates,

21 so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied in the land which the LORD swore to give to your fathers, like the days of the heavens upon the earth.

7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten?

20 Children, obey [your] parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.

21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they be discouraged.

3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I will pour My spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring;

7 And you shall carefully teach them to your sons, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

11 Come, listen to me, [my] sons; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

4 We will not hide [them] from their sons, showing to the generations to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done.

5 For He set up a testimony in Jacob, and ordered a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should teach them to their sons;

6 so that the generation to come might know; sons shall be born, and they shall arise [and] tell their sons,

7 so that they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments;

13 Do not withhold correction from a boy, for [if] you beat him with the rod, he will not die.

14 You shall beat him with the rod, and shall deliver his soul from hell.

19 The living, the living, he shall praise You, as I [do] this day; the father shall make Your truth known to the sons.

13 And all your sons [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of your sons.
