Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
As a father pities his children, the LORD pities those who fear Him.
In My Father's house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is he whom the father does not chasten?
8 But if you are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then you are bastards and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
10 For truly they chastened [us] for a few days according to their own pleasure, but He for our profit, that [we] might be partakers of His holiness.
For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD; nor be weary with His correction;
for whom the LORD loves He corrects, even as a father [corrects] the son [in whom] he delights.
Behold what manner of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
And whatever you may ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,
I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him [who is] from [the] beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice; and he who fathers a wise [child] shall have joy from him.
Now unto God and our Father [be] glory forever and ever. Amen.
But you must not be called Rabbi, for One is your teacher, Christ, and you are all brothers.
And call no one your father on the earth, for One is your Father in Heaven.
Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels?
But now, O Jehovah, You [are] our Father; we [are] the clay, and You [are] our Former; and we all [are] the work of Your hand.
Truly [He] who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
In His holy dwelling God [is] the father of the fatherless, and the judge of the widows.
My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother;
for they [shall be] an ornament of grace to your head and chains around your neck.
No one has seen God at any time; the Only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared [Him].
Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning.
But you, when you pray, enter into your room. And shutting your door, pray to your Father in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.
11 For what father of you, [if] the son asks [for] bread, will he give him a stone? Or if [he asks] for a fish, will he give him a snake for a fish?
12 Or if he shall ask for an egg, will he give him a scorpion?
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give [the] Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?
And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
As a father pities his children, the LORD pities those who fear Him.
For He knows our form; He remembers that we [are] dust.
A fool despises his father's instruction, but he who listens to correction is wise.
Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father!
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
For You [are] our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does acknowledge us. You, O LORD, [are] our Father, our Redeemer; Your name is from everlasting.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Therefore do not fear, you are of more value than many sparrows.
The fathers shall not be put to death for the sons, neither shall the sons be put to death for the fathers. Every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise),
3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
28 And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand.
29 My Father who gave [them] to me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck [them] out of My Father's hand.
30 I and the Father are one!
The living, the living, he shall praise You, as I [do] this day; the father shall make Your truth known to the sons.
Father, I desire that [those] whom You have given Me, that they may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me, for You have loved Me before [the] foundation of [the] world.
Children, obey [your] parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they be discouraged.
Therefore be perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.
I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him [who is] from [the] beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
All things are delivered to Me by My Father. And no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son will reveal Him.
3 Lo, children [are] the inheritance of the LORD; the fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so [are] the sons of the young.
5 Blessed [is] the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them; are you not much better than they are?
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
so that you do not appear to men to fast, but to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.
Sons of sons [are] the crown of old men, and the glory of sons [are] their fathers.
Whoever curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in deep darkness.
Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
