Better a poor man who walks with integrity than a fool whose lips are perverse.

It is not good to be a person without knowledge. He who hurries often misses the way.

Man ruins his life by his own foolishness. His heart chafes with anger against Jehovah.

Wealth makes many friends but poverty drives them away.

A false witness will not go unpunished. The liar will not escape.

Many ask favors of the prince. Every man is a friend of a person who gives gifts.

The brothers of the poor hate him. His friends leave him. He pursues them with words but they do not listen!

He who acquires wisdom loves life. He who guards understanding finds good.

A false witness will not go unpunished and the liar will perish.

Delight is not the custom of a fool much less for a servant to rule over princes.

The discretion of a man defers anger. It is his glory to overlook a transgression.

The king's anger is like the roaring of a lion but his favor is like dew upon the grass.

A foolish son is a disgrace to his father. A contentious wife is like drips from a leaky roof.

Real estate and riches are the inheritance of fathers. A prudent wisesensible wife is from Jehovah.

Laziness propels one into a deep sleep. An idle person will suffer hunger.

He who obeys the commandment saves his life. But he who is careless of his ways will die.

When you help the poor needylowlydepressed you lend to Jehovah. He will pay you back.

Correct your son while there is hope. Do not contribute to his death.

A man of great anger will suffer punishment. Rescue him once and then do it again.

Listen to counsel and accept instruction discipline, that you may be wise in the future.

Many intentions are in men’s hearts. Only counsel from Jehovah will stand.

Kindness is desired in a man. A poor man is better than a liar.

Respect for Jehovah leads to life. He who has it will be satisfied. He will not be visited by evil.

A lazy man hides his hand in the dish and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.

Strike a scoffer and the simple will be wary. Reprove someone who has understanding, and he will discern knowledge.

He who assaults his father and chases away his mother is a shameful and disgraceful son.

Stop listening to instruction disciplinecorrection, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

An ungodly witness scorns judgment. The mouth of the wicked devours evil.

Penalties are prepared for mockers, and beatings for the back of fools.
