14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith but he does not have works? Can that faith save him?15 If a brother or sister is without clothes and in lack of daily food,16 and one of you says to them: "Go in peace, be warmed and filled;" and yet you do not give them food and clothing, what good is it?17 Even so, faith without works is dead. It is alone and by itself!
