11 "É do conhecimento de todos, desde os servidores do palácio até os moradores de todas as províncias, que ninguém, seja homem ou mulher, pode entrar no pátio de dentro do palácio para falar com o rei, a não ser que tenha recebido ordem para isso. A lei é esta: quem entrar sem licença do rei será morto, a não ser que o rei estenda o seu cetro de ouro para essa pessoa. E já faz um mês que o rei não me manda chamar."

11 All the king's slaves, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whoever, whether man or woman, will come to the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law for him, that he is to be put to death, except those to whom the king will hold out the golden scepter, that he may live: but I haven't been called to come in to the king these thirty days.
