Cântico de peregrinação.

1 Quando o Senhor trouxe de novo a Sião

os que tinham sido levados como prisioneiros,

até nos pareceu como se fosse um sonho.

2 Cantámos de alegria e felicidade!

As populações dos outros países diziam:

"Que coisas espantosas o Senhor fez por eles!"

3 Com efeito, coisas espantosas fez o Senhor por nós;

por isso, estamos assim tão felizes!

4 Senhor, faz regressar os nossos exilados,

como as torrentes do deserto que trazem a fertilidade.

5 Os que semeiam com lágrimas

irão colher com alegria.

6 Saem pelos campos,

lamentando-se enquanto semeiam;

mas hão de voltar felizes, carregando os fardos.
