1 Que o Senhor te ouça quando estiveres angustiado.

Que o nome do Deus de Jacob te proteja.

2 Que te envie o seu socorro,

desde a sua santa morada em Sião.

3 Que ele se lembre de todas as tuas ofertas

e aceite os teus holocaustos em sua honra. (Pausa)

4 Que te conceda o que deseja o teu coração

e cumpra todos os teus planos.

5 Haveremos de nos alegrar com a tua vitória,

e em louvor do nome do nosso Deus

levantaremos as nossas bandeiras.

Assim, o Senhor responda a todos os teus pedidos.

6 Eu sei que o Senhor salva o seu ungido.

Ele o ouvirá desde o céu, desde a sua santa casa,

e responderá com a força salvadora da sua mão direita.

7 Há quem confie em exércitos e nos seus cavalos,

mas nós confiaremos no nome do Senhor, nosso Deus.

8 Outros são batidos e caem vencidos;

nós levantamo-nos e ficamos de pé.

9 Dá a vitória ao nosso rei, Senhor,

e ouve a nossa oração!
