Salmo de David.

1 O Senhor é o meu Pastor,

por isso, nada me faltará.

2 Faz-me descansar em verdes pastagens;

guia-me calmamente a ribeiros tranquilos.

3 Dá novas forças à minha alma;

conduz-me pelos caminhos da justiça,

para que eu honre o seu bom nome.

4 Se andar pelo escuro desfiladeiro da morte,

não terei medo, porque tu estás comigo;

a tua vara e o teu cajado me amparam.

5 Preparas-me uma mesa maravilhosa,

mesmo na presença dos meus inimigos.

Unges a minha cabeça com óleo;

enches-me de abundantes bênçãos,

como uma taça que transborda.

6 Sem dúvida que a tua bondade e a tua misericórdia

me hão de acompanhar todos os dias da minha vida.

Habitarei na tua casa para sempre.
