1 O Senhor é Rei!

Está revestido de majestade e poder.

Por isso, também o mundo está firme,

não poderá ser abalado.

2 O teu trono é estável;

tu dominas desde toda a eternidade.

3 Os mares levantam-se revoltos, ó Senhor!

Os oceanos rugem na violência das suas vagas.

4 Mas o Senhor, lá nas alturas,

é mais poderoso do que o ruído de ondas gigantes,

do que um oceano agitado por um furacão.

5 Os teus preceitos são seguros e imutáveis;

a santidade caracteriza a tua casa, Senhor, eternamente.
