37 Mutta kaikissa näissä ahdingoissa meille antaa riemuvoiton hän, joka on meitä rakastanut.

38 Olen varma siitä, ettei kuolema eikä elämä, eivät enkelit, eivät henkivallat, ei mikään nykyinen eikä mikään tuleva eivätkä mitkään voimat,
