1 Now, these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and there were born to them sons after the flood.2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Javan and Tubal,and Meshech, and Tiras.3 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Riphath, and Togarmah.4 And the sons of Javan: Elisha, and Tarshish. Kittim, and Rodanim,5 From these, were dispersed6 And, the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan.7 And, the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabtah and Raamah, and Sabtechah,And the sons of Raamah, Sheba and Dedan.8 And, Cush begat Nimrod.he, became a hero in the earth;9 he, became a hero of hunting before Yahweh, for this cause, it is said. Like Nimrod, a hero of hunting before Yahweh.10 So the beginning of his kingdom came to be Babel, and Erech, and Accad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.11 From that land, went forth Asshur,and he built Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah:12 and Resen, between Niveveh and Calah,the same is the great city.13 And, Mizraim, begat Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim, and Naphtuchim;14 and Pathrusim and Casluhim whence came forth Philistim and Caphtorim.15 And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth:16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;17 and the Hivite and the Arkite, and the Sinite:18 and the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite,and after-wards, were spread abroad the families of the Canaanite.19 And it came to pass that the boundary of the Canaanite was from Zidon, as thou enterest in towards Gerar unto Gaza,as thou enterest in towards Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboim, as far as Lasha.20 These, are the sons of Ham, by their families by their tongues, in their lands in their nations.21 Now, to Shem, father of all the sons of Eber, elder brother of Japheth, to him also, were children born.22 The sons of Shem, Elam and Asshur,and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram.23 And, the sons of Aram: Uz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.24 Now Arpachshad, begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.25 And to Eber, were born two sons,the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days, was the earth divided, and the name of his brother was Joktan.26 Now, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;27 and Hadoram and Uzai, and Diklah:28 and Obal and Abimael, and Sheba:29 and Ophir and Havilah, and Jobaball these were sons of Joktan.30 And it came to pass that their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou enterest in towards Sephar, the mountain of the east.31 These are the sons of Shem, by their families by their tongues, in their lands by their nations.32 These, are the families of the sons of Noah, by their generations in their nations, and from these, were dispersed the nations in the earth after the flood.

6 E os filhos de Cam são: Cuxe, e Mizraim, e Pute, e Canaã. 7 E os filhos de Cuxe são: Sebá, e Havilá, e Sabtá, e Raamá, e Sabtecá; e os filhos de Raamá são: Sabá e Dedã. 8 E Cuxe gerou a Ninrode; este começou a ser poderoso na terra. 9 E este foi poderoso caçador diante da face do Senhor; pelo que se diz: Como Ninrode, poderoso caçador diante do Senhor. 10 E o princípio do seu reino foi Babel, e Ereque, e Acade, e Calné, na terra de Sinar. 11 Desta mesma terra saiu ele à Assíria e edificou a Nínive, e Reobote-Ir, e Calá, 12 e Resém, entre Nínive e Calá (esta é a grande cidade). 13 E Mizraim gerou a Ludim, e a Anamim, e a Leabim, e a Naftuim, 14 e a Patrusim, e a Casluim (donde saíram os filisteus), e a Caftorim.

15 E Canaã gerou a Sidom, seu primogênito, e a Hete, 16 e ao jebuseu, e ao amorreu, e ao girgaseu, 17 e ao heveu, e ao arqueu, e ao sineu, 18 e ao arvadeu, e ao zemareu, e ao hamateu, e depois se espalharam as famílias dos cananeus. 19 E foi o termo dos cananeus desde Sidom, indo para Gerar, até Gaza; indo para Sodoma, e Gomorra, e Admá, e Zeboim, até Lasa. 20 Estes são os filhos de Cam, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.

21 E a Sem nasceram filhos, e ele é o pai de todos os filhos de Éber e o irmão mais velho de Jafé. 22 Os filhos de Sem são: Elão, e Assur, e Arfaxade, e Lude, e Arã. 23 E os filhos de Arã são: Uz, e Hul, e Geter, e Más. 24 E Arfaxade gerou a Salá; e Salá gerou a Éber.

25 E a Éber nasceram dois filhos: o nome de um foi Pelegue, porquanto em seus dias se repartiu a terra; e o nome do seu irmão foi Joctã. 26 E Joctã gerou a Almodá, e a Selefe, e a Hazar-Mavé, e a Jerá, 27 e a Hadorão, e a Uzal, e a Dicla, 28 e a Obal, e a Abimael, e a Sabá, 29 e a Ofir, e a Havilá, e a Jobabe; todos estes foram filhos de Joctã. 30 E foi a sua habitação desde Messa, indo para Sefar, montanha do Oriente. 31 Estes são os filhos de Sem, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.

32 Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Noé, segundo as suas gerações, em suas nações; e destes foram divididas as nações na terra, depois do dilúvio.
